I like all the music that's been in the videos, even if they're the same. They have a sentimental feeling to them now, when I hear them, it makes me remember other times, especially now. I've been having a stressful week at work so I started watching your vlogs from the beginning. What a weird but fun sensation in many ways, to go back to 2020 during the height of all the crazy lockdown stuff. Also, a fun idea for Luna to get some energy, maybe look into getting a remote control car. I got a cheap one last year for christmas and my dog loves playing with it in my apartment. Though, the tires generally aren't chew proof.

Oooh yes, Northern Exposure! I've been watching it for the first time as an adult (barely remember watching some of it as a kid) and loving it. It is definitely dated and occasionally has a scene/storyline that's hard to watch for modern ears, but honestly I think it holds up surprisingly well. They tackle things with a lot more compassion and consideration than other media of the same time, imo. And it's soooo cozy and quirky! And perfect for winter!

just watched the second episode of season 2 severance right before watching this! what a show!!!!! this was soooo cozy to watch, toronto got hit with a lot of snow yesterday and now it's super cold so this is the perfect watch before i have to go to work also i love all the music that's used, it's cozy and welcoming when it's the same songs honestly. It's also fun when you use a song and i'm like "Oh yes this one again! perfect!"

It's kind of silly that I feel relieved because you'd call out of work because of tummy trouble, but honestly, I've been worried about Norovirus, so it's a relief. Also if you want a fun winter read, may I recommend Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries. It's set in winter in Scandinavia and waiting for the third book in the series has turned me into an unhinged person.

I wonder if you might enjoy watching Arctic Air (also available free on various platforms). It's from about 10 years ago and is about a family running an airline in northern Canada. Plenty of snow as it's about the same latitude as Alaska

Talkfine stan all the way. Love the new lofi! I thought it was cold in Scotland but negative 20 is something else. Definitely in a cosy mood too, just finished listening to Orbital by Samantha Harvey which is spacey kinda philosophical book. Also in a big puzzle phase at the moment. Our TBRs are syncing up 😆I heard good things about Teller of Small Fortunes on some folks' best of 2024 lists, so I picked that one up, and I've had Sword of Kaigen and Daughter of the Moon Goddess on my bookshelves for over a year! Overall, I'm trying to stick to a one book out/one book in system this year, so I'm selling things I either didn't love or don't feel drawn to. I *heartily* recommend the Dungeon Crawler Carl series (ESPECIALLY in audio, the narrator is INSANE). It's funny dystopian/litRPG. I don't know if it's a traditional Meredith read, but I reckon Brian would love it and I can confidently say that the audiobooks singlehandedly rescued my mental health after the election. The seventh one comes out in a couple weeks!
