I don’t like to get pricked by pins either, so now use my clips on the edges.

Yes I love my clips better.

Check for broken needle.....inside of machine..Unscrew the two screws on the metal plates and on the back left I think is a button to push and removes all this plate. You can now see all inside the machine. Clean it and see if a needle piece is inside. Looks like you need to clean a lot of lint out :?

I know you probably don't feel it, but this has been my favorite episode!! I love to see you step out of your comfort zone and try to master sewing!! Don't give up!! Did you find the missing piece?

lol! You got take right! It’s a totally different world. I never found the other piece of the needle. I am still on the hunt for it!😝

@@BoricuaSewingCrafts try a magnet!
@melaniesimington20566 күн бұрын
I know I’m not on the live, but I suggest a top stitch around the edge and a couple of straight lines top to bottom and side to side. This will hold the two pieces together.
@BoricuaSewingCrafts5 күн бұрын
I like that idea! It makes sense. I will definitely do that.

Don't forget your scissors are magnetic. Run them along the blanket and in the sewing area and you will find it. The needle may be on you and the floor since you have moved the blanket around.

I think the needle do land somewhere else. I couldn't find it on the blanket.

Big question about the Glue Stick? I just finished embroidering a baby quilt for my great granddaughter. Question is..when I applied the glue stick to the tear away stabilizer on my test piece. The glue wasn't sticky and I did read it disappears in about 8 seconds which it did. Why didn't it feel sticky and why didn't it actually stick to the fabric when placed on top of the stabilizer. This glue stick does not feel like it's very adhering .. is that how its supposed to be? Thank you

You must top stitch to hold your blanket together.
@BoricuaSewingCrafts8 күн бұрын
Yeah I thought I could get away with not doing it. But I can see that the blanket won’t stay in place after it is washed.

Please sew SLOW when sewing that much thickness. That is why you broke your needles. Also sew at 4 stitch length for top stitching. Trim your seams before turning your quilt will help on the thickness of your top stitch.

I was sewing fast. I have to slow down.

I tried but I couldn't find the needle part. So I am going to keep this for myself. Maybe hang it on a wall.

I did. Unfortunately that part of the needle has disappeared. I had no luck in finding it.
