Those came out so darling!! It's funny how trends come in and out. 25+ years ago crafting with embroidery hoops was the rage, and then it crashed. It's so nice to see it come back around again with a revamped version! I will totally be trying these. Love love love how they came out!

Beautiful Deanna. In the eighties and nineties, hoops were popular. They would sell the material and I would make the ruffles which went around the hoop using calico or solid material and the ruffles attachment on the sewing machine. Sometimes I would paint the hoops. If it was a lace picture in the center I would add silk flowers, pearls etc.. to the front. Also trapunto was popular where you sewed around say a picture of a duck in water and stuff it and it was three D. I wouldn’t use paper for the back but a soft piece of felt as these hoops would hang on the wall. Your hoops bring back wonderful memories of meeting such great people at the craft fairs and going to home parties to sell. Beautiful!! May you and your family be blessed. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

These are sooo adorable! I have a Cricut Maker and have increased the pressure from default and still have trouble cutting through. I may need a new blade but I just bought the machine a couple of months ago and have only used it a few times... any other ideas??
@CraftyCraftsByDeanna4 жыл бұрын
I put my pressure to almost the max setting. So you have a deep cut blade?

Hi Deanna!! It’s been awhile since I commented but I watch all your videos, you are a wealth of knowledge and all your projects are so adorable!! My question is I’m on the fence on which Cricut machine to buy? The Explore air or the Maker? I want to do some vinyl projects, although I am not tech savvy at all, so is the Design space easy to navigate? I just Love this project, the hoop is so pretty!! So which one should I get? Lots of hugs from Niagara Falls Canada - Laurie
