Embutido is a delicious Filipino dish made with ground meat, typically chicken or pork, mixed with various ingredients and then steamed or baked. It is often served during special occasions or as a tasty snack. Here's my simple recipe on how to cook Embutido in 2 ways to try.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 kilogram ground chicken
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 cup raisins and mixed dried fruits(optional)
• 1 cup shredded carrots
• 1/2 cup dice red bell peppers
• 1 cup dice onions
• 5 eggs
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 2 tbsp pickle relish
• 2 tbsp oyster sauce
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Aluminum foil or banana leaves (for wrapping)

Instructions:
1. Boil the 3 Egg in a medium high heat.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, breadcrumbs, raisins, carrots, bell peppers, onions, eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, pickle relish, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
3. Prepare your steamer in stove in a medium high heat.
4. Take a sheet of aluminum foil Scoop a portion of the chicken mixture onto the foil or banana leaf and shape it into a log, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Roll it tightly and twist the ends to secure the embutido.
5. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture until you've used it all up.
6. Place the embutido rolls in the steamer or on a baking dish if using the oven. If using a steamer, steam the embutido for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. If using the oven, bake for approximately 1 hour or until the embutido is cooked through and the top is slightly browned.
7. Once cooked, remove the embutido from the steamer or oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
8. Unwrap the embutido from the foil or banana leaf and slice it into serving portions.
9. Serve the embutido slices hot or cold as desired. It is commonly enjoyed with rice or as a filling for sandwiches.
