I really like the the ugly ducklings i.e original EMD WDP 4's in LHF!!Really amazing work!!One of the best videos of IR.BTW almost all ugly ducklings have been transferred to SGUJ!!

You didn't talk about the aerodynamics. Let me say: The best effect of the aerodynamic design of any body is when it has a pentagonal shape. So WDP4s not only look good on the LHF side but this LHF also helps them aerodynamically better. Notice the pentagon on the loco. So, It is more kinda aerodynamic on LHF rather than the SHF. It is normal if any person says that a body is aerodynamic if it has that slant front. It can even be noticed on the ALCos. Anyway- Excellent compilation. Hats Off! :P.

@abhishekl191288 Yes. From LP's point of view it's a problem. But for railfans like me it's unbeatable :P The SHF look has a kind of majestic look to it while the LHF looks monstrous. Talk about dual-characters! :P LHF running helps cooling because of that gaping mouth of the radiator. That is the only advantage. IR won't make SHF compulsory, nor will they invest in turntables, which they should be doing, because they've already created a dual-cab version.

Wonder how you like them and find them ugly at the same time. Anyway, only 5 of the ten imported EMD WDP4s are with SGUJ, where they have failed to maintain them properly and have repainted them to some hideous dark livery. The other 5 are still with Hubli. Thanks.

@dheerajrao But I hate to see these muscle hunks in LHF... tw reasons: 1. cause the LCs cannot see properly and 2. cause it's aero-dynamic in SHF and has a majestic look.... so they're real strength is in SHF... like many foreign countries, IR should also make it compulsory to operate these locos only in SHF... BTW your friend pramath has joined wikipedia.... why don't you too join and create/improve the many articles related to IR... it'd be a pleasure to have u there... thanks :):)
