My 28 year old loved doing dressage tests, ask him for anything fancy and he put his heart into it to the end, they sure do love to dance with us. Gotta cherish these moments with the olds

Mine loves being a field rat but she's never loved being ridden the way some do. We ride sometimes but no more collection ect. Bur damn if her lateral work isn't the best way to teach kids

Great decision to go with Spritey on a small cross country course. I think It keeps the older horse healthy, it's when you stop them that i find that they old quickly.

I actually felt a bit emotional watching Sprite having such a lovely time out there; I've had my boy 15 years and he'll he 20 next year and it suddenly seems to have dawned on me the last year that he isn't going to go on forever so seeing you and Sprite still having fun together really made me smile. Miss Spritey absolutely loving that cross country course has put a giant smile on MY face. Yes she is an older lady but she's clearly very fit and healthy and you'd obviously never do anything to hurt Spritey. I bet she's still buzzing from her fun outing.

Spritey is the life of the party! It made me so happy to see her so happy and just loving life and her work! We know you would never overdo it with her and that you always put her best interests first. Plus, she so fit! All you have to do is look at her to know that she receives the best care there is. Lovely round with Addie too! She really is epic. Can't wait to watch the Bicton vlog. What a wonderful day!

I will admit I don't regularly watch your videos, but as soon as I saw Sprite going out, I had to. Horses that are used to being busy and showing definitely love having their minutes back in the spotlight. I think it's really good for their mental health to go when they safely can. I've been riding my boss's 26 yo retired FEI level dressage horse for the summer, and oh my word does he love getting in the white boards and working still.

You know your horses and if they dont feel right, and you listen to them when they show you something is wrong, so why not let her do things she enjoys. Watching you and Sprite inspired me to make a vet appointment to have my 19-year-old gelding's front ringbone x-rayed. He was diagnosed 3 years ago but has for the last nine months been so sound that we removed the corrective shoes and pads and pain meds. I have high hopes that joints have fused and he is now able to do a bit of low-level cross country. Fingers crossed, because I have so missed our outings. Thank you and Sprite so much for reminding us that it's not always too late!

I’m not sure if you know but you can edit the video capture quality in settings. If you open the camera without unlocking the phone, it’ll record with a standard quality. If the phone is unlocked and then you go onto the camera to film it’ll be the quality you select❤

That’s a Trust inno-sense port mouth bit - I had one for my pony but sadly they don’t come any smaller than 5” so I switched to the Winderen you might look into these too they are lovely bits - good luck at Buxton looking forward to the vlog

I was two lovely ladies enjoying a stroll 😁 Sprites day out 👏👏 enjoy those moments while you have them… she got her proper voice over 🧡 Addies course… agree most consistent rhythm. It was a lovely course. Of course she looks bigger… filling out in the muscle department… she’s just getting started 😉 imagine what that hind end and shoulders will look like when she can leg yield, shoulders in, enough muscle and agility to do smooth flying changes 🤩 ever thought of trying a full cheek snaffle on her?
