Yes, you will need a form signed from a job in 2016 or later to apply for August 2019 entry.

Person specifications for GP training states that the applicant needs to 'Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practiseii from, the GMC at intended start'. Doesn't that actually mean that I can apply for the GP training and complete the PLABs (and after of course GMC registration) ?

Yes, you could, if you meet all the other criteria, however if you then did not complete PLAB or did not get GMC registration, your job offer would be withdrawn.

You can only sit MRCGP (UK) while in GP training in the UK. It is recognised in most countries.

You can sit MRCGP international if you have the required experience (there are different versions of MRCGP international, each with their own regulations). MRCGP International is not recognised in the UK and will not allow you to work in the UK

Thank you for your kind comment. The default maximum is 4 attempts at both AKT and CSA. If there are exceptional circumstances you can apply for a 5th attempt. Best wishes!

You need 2 years clinical experience by the start date of training. 1 year internship + 1 year afterwards. The person specification refers to 1 year post GMC OR equivalent - that can be full registration with the medical council in any country. No NHS experience is necessary, although I would strongly recommend it before starting training.

You cannot sit any part of MRCGP UK until you first get into GP Training in the UK. To do that you would need to get GMC registration, get your competences signed, and score well in the MSRA.

Yes, that is possible. No UK experience is required, however working for 4 to 6 months in the UK will help you get familiar with the NHS and the systems here which will help both with the exams and with being more confident in the job. Best wishes!

No, the AKT is specific to GP, whereas many PLAB questions are based in hospital. The AKT is at a much higher level of knowedge / challenge.
