I would say that’s pretty much on the mark. The Nightmare twists your mind and perceptions, but unlike the normal Void’s horrors, the Nightmare takes what is, or was, and plays with it like a cheap toy. Physically, I think the Nightmare’s symbolism is supposed to be cancerous? Because the Dream is a font of infinite life, and the Void is infinite consumption...so, if you eat so much Life that you might as well be your own font five-fold... Hm. Cancer forms rather similarly, just on a less cosmic scale. This might explain some of the less “pretty but evil red” and more “horrible twitching fleshy creatures and tumours” part.

@@nicos6728 To be fair, the Old Gods are described as cancerous, and Il'Gynoth is called a 'tumour of Nightmare' by Malfurion in the raid. Cancer might be a form of life, but it also consumes its host from within and eventually kills them. So its a very apt comparison.

i suppose hp lovecraft faceless ones from the black empire and with the emerald dream being the next expac i have no doubt that we will be dealing with the black empire maybe not as a whole this time and i did hear that ragnaros is making a comeback with thrall interesting that he's the elemental shaman right. sounds like the major patch is going to be a big opener and its like this is what azeroth is dreaming or having nightmares about. It definitely has some very ethereal um dark reminds me a little bit of the spiders in the webbed tunnels in the misty mountains that bilbo discovered when he put the ring on and could hear their voices and see them and hear what they were saying

the creative department at blizzard did such a good job with what would be the soundtrack to the emerald nightmare if you got a tour or just listening to and the cool walk through of sorts, yeah did a great job with showing the metaphysical things that have happened in the nightmare quite trippy and psychedelic but man was it cool to see or what i love their use of the colors for those parts of the zone and raid so artsy and surreal beautiful just everything about it

Can you please make an ambient/music rain video from Kindom Come Deliverance at Henry's family farm? I tried to make my own but I can't figure out how to keep the framerate of the video above 9fps. I don't know whats going on. But the rain atmosphere of that game is amazing. I've been doing homework all day to it with the game on in the background.

I know this is a year late, but you can record your computer audio without video with audacity (which is free and has plenty of tutorials). your computer might be able to handle recording audio better than video :)

I was unfortunate to need to step away from WoW at the start of Legion so never go to experience this wonderful zone until recently. The ambiance and music in the Emerald Nightmare raid is incredible. I find it oddly comfortable despite also being creepy.

Lich King is the most overrated expansion, nothing special there. MoP is much better.
