Thank you so much, been wondering how to do this for ages, works great can zoom right in. For anyone saying it doesn't work when you load the game right click on icon and run as administrator and the hack works, however if you just double click to load normal way the hack does not work.

CAPPYTAN You are very welcome, I'd like to add something to your statement; If you right click and go under properties / compatibility you can set Run always As Administrator. That will then work again like you normally would start the game

Georgi Sulser i am using normal workpad, i did the ajustments and i did the "run as an administrator but it dosent work

Georgi Sulser When you did the changes, did you click save, have a look and see if they actually saved. What happens is you have limited access to certain files so if you try to change them it won't let you. So you have to change the security settings to allow full access.

when i edit the .cfg and save, it saves and everything, but when i try to launch em4, it comes up but automatically closes out before the game can load. please help

For those that are having problems... If you are using Windows 8 (possibly others but only tried on that OS), you need to run the game as an administrator (right click launch icon and click "Run as administrator").

This video was very helpful but I have a question. Before I changed the values there wasn't a green glow that would outline your vehicle now there is. If you have a fix for this I'd love to see it, thanks

Right click on the em4.cfg and click properties, go to the security tab, click edit, go to users and tick the 'full control' tick box, then apply.

I tired doing this but it is still the default camera. I ran Notepad++ as Admin and the CFG isn't read-only.

I am not sure I follow you there. How can data change into paper? Unless of course you print it out

I figured it out thank you though, when I opened the 911 folder it shows the config file as a piece of paper. I had to right click then select what program to open it with (notepad) hopefully this helps others to!

I yeah that, I explain all that in the new Video that expalins a lot more about modding in Em4 this is really a very outdated video. Good on you for figuring it out tho

You have to make sure that the em4 folder is not set to read only. Also start notepad++ as administrator
