EMERGENCY cling film shelter | highlights of 2022

Took a hike into a local forest , made a brew then decided to experiment with some cling film and paracord , trying to make a temporary emergency shelter .

Excellent Ally - always take the path least followed. Ever tried a clingfilm "choom" you need a big feck off factory roll of cling from a factory that wraps pallets (you can get them on ebay) wrap round 4 trees for walls and good sloping cling roof, slice a side down front and run a bit of packing tape down each cut for a door - give me a shout if you want to try a choom camp. Hey Ally!! Great little video but no idea who would be walking in the woods and get caught out with only cling film 😂😂 sounds dodgy if you ask me lol!!! I actually used to know someone who always carried cling film , he would cut the roll down the middle and take one half . He said he used it a few times , once for someone who got a bad burn and a few other times to wrap round his shoes when wading through streams 😂 The forest was dead silent , at first i thought my hearing had gone , but after shouting out random stuff i relised i could hear myself and calmed down 🤪 thanks for watching and have a good new year when it comes 👍🏻🏕

Pine forest will be quiet. Keeps out a lot of sunlight and I think pine needles affect the soil. Nice for the robin to come and say hello.

Yeah could have been a lot better with a few tweaks , but was just experimenting . But yeah after a while of deafening silence , i started hearing a few murmurings then my wee pal appeared 👍🏻🏕

the forest i camp in is worrying quiet, it can be a bit off putting sometimes. never tried the cling film trick but often think of trying it 👍🏕
