Hi, you're right. The aim of this video is just a general basic brief knowledge about the Emergency Department (ED) focused primarily on the functional program with some knowledge concerning the basic spaces, trauma center levels, some new ED trends and ED topologies or configurations. This is due to the time limitation. A comprehensive cover of an emergency department should include the talk about clinical support areas, common areas, space program, infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, medical gases...etc.), furniture and medical equipment and so on. More advanced cover will include the "Emergency Department Planning for Event Scenarios and Disasters". For example, event scenarios and disasters could be earthquake, spread of infectious disease (coronavirus...etc.), chemical contamination...etc.
