Wow, that was a day out. How the Canadian regulator didn’t impound that aircraft until finalising the investigation is beyond me - Buffalo were stripping parts off it pretty much as soon as it was towed back to the hangar. Don’t t get me wrong, appreciate their Can Do attitude to getting on with the job, but wow how different things are today ……

I have no idea why Joe even wanted to buy those Electra's in the first place. They were already ancient aircraft and technology. That was a total mistake buying them. What he should have done was find a couple of 737 Combi's or at least ONE of them and ran it for a little while and see if it worked well for his operation. The Combi aircraft can haul passengers along with a load of freight or all freight or all passengers, I think, I can't remember if I'm totally correct on that though. The ALL freight or all passengers part. I can't remember now it's been so long ago. Alaska airlines had some of them and I thought they were pretty successful with them?

Because they are still fantastic aircraft. The problem I think is that Joe only fixes things when they break. These old birds need a service after just about every flight and I don't think Joe does that to save a buck

Remember it's not just business. Old aircrafts are tougher to fly but are pretty tough and Joe has a genuine love for old birds. To be fair, they haven't been involved in any deadly crashes atleast so far.

The ice strip landing should have been done by Ray. He was able to inspect the strip earlier. Not good planning from buffalo.

Ok. So in the first season they called the guy Luby Lobos. Last season they were saying Luby Lubash. Now they are back to calling him Luby Lobos. What kind of fuckery are we dealing with here?
