I feel as if every flight sim needs to add a lot more “crunch” to the crashes. It would be more realistic then only certain parts breaking. Basically rise of flights on steroids. Bonus points for a lot more “explotiony” fire.

The simulator itself is pretty realistic the only thing that isn’t realistic is the fact that he deliberately turns the wheel extremely hard in order to get the plane to hit its wings

Gotta say, DCS does their crashes a lot better than IL-2. They still do the funky chicken, jumping all over the place, but they come apart much more realistically.

For the price of these planes, the damage model is absolute basic procedure. Same size bits break, same wingtips. They sure look amazing but that’s about it.

thing is dcs is enough of a pc melter, thats why the explosion model is pretty bad,the optimizing would just be atrocious
