Emergency was my one and only tv show I could not miss every Saturday. But my family was building a cabin in South Park Colorado and every weekend during the spring, summer and fall. I wasn't happy I couldn't miss Emergency. So my dad made me a deal if I went and help to build the cabin he would bring up an old black and white, tv and they can power it up with either the generator on the car. With tons of extension cords from the station wagon up by the road down to the back of the shell of the cabin. I got to watch my Emergency. Team Johnny Gage was the Emergency team member I was dying to see. Jonny Gage was the greatest guy in my book. Young and very handsome and was the best at saving lives. How I wished I was one of his victims or when he was hurt or sick I wanted to be the one to take car of him. I would sit on the steps that went up to the loft and dream of how I could fit into that episode. I was like in 3rd or 4th grade when Emergency first came on. I was thrilled when it came out on VHS 2 one hour episodes per tape or 1 two hour episode per tape 1 tape was the price of a whole season on DVD. I didn't care I was working as a live-in nanny and I got to relive about 20 episodes. When I got the VHS tapes the little boy Drew loved the show as much as I did and with my Emergency fire hat, he pretended to be Johnny Gage going to rescue his stuff animals. Sometimes me or one of his little friends played his victims. Both of our favorite episodes was ”Snake Bite” where Johnny was bitten by a rattlesnake and with Roy gone on the helicopter with the victims they just saved. So Johnny had to save his own life with the help of Cap, Stoker, Marco and the one that helped him the most Chet Kelly. The man half the time I hated half of the time for playing tricks on Johnny. Then like 15 years later my almost 2-year-old nephew I was watching while his parents were at work. I had him at least 2 times a week and he was really into fire engines and the only DVD with them on was Hard Hat Harry visiting the fire station. No adult should have to watch even once. So I told him is he wanted fire trucks to learn from the best and I put in one of my VHS tapes of Emergency and the kid was hooked if I let him he would have watched them the 10 hours I watched him every time he walked into my apartment. I have MS and lived 1/2 mile away from where his parents work. So Hay came to see his Aunt TC whenever anyone who was going to watch canceled he came to see me. The first words out of his mouth were Roy John now he wanted his milk cup and put in his bouncy car and he didn't mind if he had to watch the same ones over and over. Then when the DVDs came out this little kid figured out to the exact date the next season was coming out. They always came out in February and February was the month his grandma and Pa went to Hawaii for the month and from the age of 2 would ask the salesperson what day was the next year Emergency com out they would tell him the date and when he came to my place more than normal he kept asking me what day and if he heard the right day. He would grab my keys and my purse and say we go now. When I asked where he said new Emergency. Since he watched the season before for that whole year and was ready for more. With my MS I had to have IV steroids for 5 straight days at least once a year and the longer I had to take them the harder it was to find a vein that could hold it for 5 days. Visiting nurses could never find on and going to the ER for 5 days is really expensive. So Johnny Gage and ”Snake Bite” to the rescue. So for 10 years, I put in my own IVs if Johnny Gage can do it so can I. I got the DVD to were he's doing it on him and we did IVs together and like him, I got it on the first try. In an interview with Randy Mantooth, he said ”Snake Bite” was his favorite because he has to put in his own IV.

37+ years ff medic & this was how it started .. my Saturday night ! Wow how this all helped our future in saving more lives every year we learned better skills & trained 4 the future ! Thanks to all those ER cardiologist ,trauma Docs who trusted us God Bless 👨🏻‍🚒🚑🇺🇸

In New York City in the borough of The Bronx we have a Station 51 but this Station 51 in The Bronx quarters no Engine and Squad 51 only Truck 51 and Engine 38. They are proposing to bring Engine 51 back into the FDNY. Originally FDNY Engine 51 was a fire boat but was changed to a marine unit. Now my friend Nic Renzo and myself are Bernie Williams fans and since he was number 51 we would be Station 51.

I get SOOOO excited when 1 of the guys gets injured but 1 thing I don't like about this episode is Mike tells Dixie about Kel but doesn't tell her that it's not that serious, just he's been injured in a car accident and he walks away! Sure she could have found out before Kel got there but I doubt it as the little girl took like 5 mins to get to the hospital

Did ya guys know Vince Howard was on a few episodes of The Streets Of San Francisco as well? seasons 1 and 2 he played an inspector but it was in the episodes Trail Of The Serpent and Harem and seasons 3 and 4 he played a criminologist named Charlie
