I've just discovered Augason Farms. I've always had several weeks of canned and dry food in my pantry, along with water. This is because I live in a hurricane area. Recently, I have been feeling the need to prepare for long-term needs.

Great explanation about the purpose of Augason Farms, it really is pantry oriented. It is great to have around, usually add canned meat or veggies to make it a full meal. Like Rice a Roni or Hamburger Helper for long term.

Do you put the butter powder in the fridge once opened or is it shelf stable after opening?
