Thanks for the great video. I had one of these sanders when I was making ukuleles and it worked well for me. We relocated to another state a few years ago, and I sold most of my tools. I'm looking at getting another drum sander again, but after watching your video, I think I'll shop around for a different brand.

Junk! Don't ever get one... It want supply enough air for anything including painting something...it's the worst air compressor I've owned.. get a compressor with at least 35-40 gallons...

Hi im Todd, bens friend from washington. I wanted to give my condolences for bens death. The last time i talked to him was in February but i remember the fun we all had with him from covid. Me and a couple of friends wanted to get together and play airsoft before he moved but we never got the chance to do that and i regret not talking to him before his death. I cant imagine the pain you must be dealing with as his family and it is truly tragic that he has passed away at such a young age.

Chad, this was the hardest video I have ever watched. My heart is broken into many pieces. I feel like I lost a family member of my own. I watched him grow into a fine young man. You and your wife did a wonderful job bringing up Ben and Ella. When thinking of Ben the first thing that comes to mind is his smile. He had a great smile. It’s almost like a sign of respect. He may of been shy around the camera but it was your video so he smiled to show what a great son he is. I have a grandson named Benjamin. I was thinking of him while watching the video. This video must of been hard on the family to make but I think it was the right decision. It allows us time to mourn the loss of your son. I had a very similar experience, broke the drive pin after only a few months. Jet could not get me a new motor for several months so I had a local machine shop make a new pin for me. Same pin is still working two+ years later----but I cannot ever get the drive belt to run straight. The belt adjustment mechanism is terrible. It is currently disassembled on the workbench--again. I have spent a lot of time keeping this machine running. I do not like my Jet 1020 sander. Thanks for sharing your story, nice to know I am not alone!
