It’s the exact same thing that I was thinking: the other dog owner is responsible for all the costs. I’m glad you mentioned it towards the end of the video. If he or she has, say, renters, homeowners or some sort of liability insurance, it should pay for things. Apart from that, how was your day? 😢

I don’t know what the laws are like in Florida but here in California, you can take a pet owner to small claims court to get some or all of those hospital bills paid due to the fact that the dog attacked your dog. Sorry you & John went through this but at least Mia is alive. On a positive note, your apartment is absolutely beautiful and you did a great job decorating it. Enjoy it!❤️✈️

Do you know who owns the dog , that bit Mia ? If yes , contact the police, and sue the owner for the cost of the surgeries for Mia. The police will take the dog into custody, and test the dog , and ticket the owner for the actions of their dog. I hope Mia gets well soon, quickly. ❤

Francesco my king charles was attacked in Boca...fyi my vet bill was similar - the attacking dog owner did not pay, he came over my house with toys/treats...anyway, I got an attorney who sued the dog owner and the hoa and I got the money back to cover 100% of the vet bill and the attorney fee. Praying Mia makes a full recovery as well sending love to you & John & Mom. Big hugs

Absolutely..! The owner of the dog is totally responsible for this unlucky, terrible situation that happened.. Make him/her pay whatever the cost is no matter how long it takes them to agree to pay the whole lot. If you are a dog owner, you should be able to know the character potential for your pet so it’s their responsibility to take all the precautions in order to eliminate all these sad situations. Poor baby, I hope she is feeling a lot better..🙏🏻

I’m so sorry about Mia, that’s the most stressful thing because those poor little souls can’t tell you how they’re feeling. I’ve had Trupanion on my pets for years now and consider it a great investment especially since in Florida there is no deductible and premiums are set on the amount you want them to reimburse, ie 70, 80 of 90% or more. Anyway in this situation the priority is Mia’s recovery and hopefully the other pet owner at least helping with the vet bills. If not start a gofundme…you have lots of followers that would help. Your apartment is beautiful BTW! Great to see John again too xx
