Dr. Fitzgerald still works at Alameda East. I checked the site because I was curious if he was. He was my favorite out of all the vets on this show, and my mom had a lot of respect for him because he was the reptile man, and she is scared to death of snakes!

He does in fact still work there. Very nice man. My uncle (mom's account so her brother) also works there and has been for over 2 decades now. Got to see him once on the show!

Ohhhh cricket chitin is undigestable... so that's why my cat would always puke up a bunch of cricket scraps when he'd been chowing down on them... so nasty.

I study VEt medicine and just can say that its awesome! I love my profession and definitely there's is nothing like to see an animal happy and healthy giving thanx to you after you have cured it! XD

You make $9/ hour as vet nurse compared to $90/hour as human nurse. Both very hard work. Shouldn't be such a big difference in pay.

I am a physcian and a veterinarian. I don't see the difference in care from the nurses. Certified Vet nurses make $22-$37/ hourly. There are nurses I have worked with who don't deserve minimum wage as well. The quality of insurance also varies. People are more willing to pay higher premiums for their pet insurance than for their own.

I LOOOVE that show! Someday I want to work with Dr.F =3 That little boy shouldn't have spoken and acted like he did but I don't blame him. Seeing your pet being poked with needles can make you feel a bit odd.

Hey man you just need to grow up. It's not cool to make fun of people on the internet, thats pretty weak man. And as for being a vet, you have to be top of your class in college and work somwhere with animals. If you dont do anything like that you wont get into vet school. It is nearly impossible anyways to get in. At the school in my state 800 people applied and only 80 got in. So if your looking for a career with lots of free time..this isnt for you.

If you're gunna say that about a little boy or anyone for that matter, you don't deserve to be a vet. You have to smart enough to know better than talking like that iin order to become a vet.
