I continue my build on our Emergency Preparedness Water Tower. This thing is kicking my butt, but it will be so worth it in the end.

Thank you, Sir! It is turning out way more work that I ever imagined. Trying to finish the last part of the video on it now. Ironically my back is the only thing that doesn't hurt right now lol. Doing 80% of this build off a ladder is murder on my legs and feet.

It would have been more reassuring if you’d tapped one of those braces and said “That ain’t going anywhere.” 😂

Good morning! Wow, that’s really taking shape!! Damn sure looks solid too! Not saying it’s hurricane rated, but Hell, it may be! Thanks for taking us along on this project!! Take care my friend!😅

Good Morning Brother After that tank goes in it would survive any hurricane I have ever been in. One more push and I should have it complete!

@@RandallsLittleAdventures I'd fixup somemounts to attach ropes to the raised bed. and have some large stakes ready for hurricane season. staked down would be better. But good work.

I guess I could drive some T post in the ground and rope it to them if I knew a really bad storm was on the way. Thanks for something to think about!

You sure you not building a deer stand? LoL. I have thought about rain off yhe roof for non potable water... Bathing, flushing, clothes, etc.

LoL, it would make a fine deer stand with a few windows installed! Our water supply has proven itself very susceptible to failure in certain circumstances. It was way overdue to install a backup. With a proper filtration system, this will provide also good drinking water for some time.
