Bro I am using Himalayan done 22k km in year..changed rear tyre at 17k km front tyre still good for 2-3k km...changed rear brake pads once while changing rear tyre which was not required..but did it just in case where the brake pads where still good around 40% left, also try to engine brake. Riding on all roads & no roads. 5k km offroading rest is highway & city riding....did not faced any major issues...bro may be you need to change your riding style...try to change it for some time you may get different result...just saying...cheers...ride hard ride safe

@@pranavs7 My riding ain't rough what so ever. I used to lubricate every 300-500km. Every 6 months servicing. 60km average commute. With all this I had to change chain set at 11k kms. Plus it stranded me once. My tyres are very good. What Royal Enfield doesn't have is consistency.

@@navjyotlambor9301 Yes there is an chain issue with my Himalayan also..I have changed it at 15k km....also worried about current chain....lubricating it whenever it feels dry...not waiting for 500km mark....best suggestion I came across was to use chain spray and oil simultaneously... which I have not tried yet but going to do it.

Hey Lakshya,you can use a plastic sack and put it over your bike's tank area and extend it towards bike seat. Tie each ends of the sack with a help of plastic rope to bike's frame so that it stays on it. This hack is very cheap and useful especially when you park your bike in open and more important is that even if it rains, the water won't enter the tank & also won't get absorbed in the seat as you have plastic sack over them. I hope you try this once.

i am suffering same tank leak issue in classic 350, only solution left is tank cover, mind it not the cap cover i mean whole tank cover. works best since 3 years dint faced any issue. one more jugad solution cut out the lid part from tank and replace it weld it with old passions tank superb solution.
