Thanos could have been aware of Galactus’ existence and his sole duty of ensuring the universes’ survival. I think Galactus is somewhere in the universe in some type of ‘stasis’ mode where he’s been dormant for eons; Thanos had become aware of the fact Galactus is beginning to slowly awake due to the universe hitting a certain point population wise. You could even say incursions have accelerated Galactus’ awakening because it throws the multiverse out of balance. Thanos figured out that once Galactus fully awakes, he will begin to perform his culling duties while eliminating incursions by eating millions of planets. Thanos realized it would be an extremely terrifying death for trillions of life forms; so he came up with a plan to collect the infinity stones to stop Galactus from waking up. Once he had all the stones he could provide ‘mercy’ by snapping away half of the universe’s life forms in a very quite and painless way. So right as Galactus begins to fully awake from his slumber Thanos’ Infinity War snap takes place wiping out half of all life forms including individuals who caused an incursion. Galactus in response to Thanos’ snap ceases to awake since the universe no longer needs to be culled and all incursions were stopped. The Avengers, unaware of all of this, then perform their own snap to bring everyone back; which means Galactus does awake to perform his duties of culling the multiverse. Plus it would pay off Tony’s line to Cap in Endgame “you mess with time it tends to mess back; you’ll see”. Maybe even the Celestials fear Galactus, which is why they’re so desperate to birth new Celestials. Not because they want to protect life and to create new life; they want to protect themselves and hold onto their absolute power. Galactus who had been asleep for eons finally fully awakes and his very first planet is Zenn-La where he encounters a young Norrin Radd. Maybe in a mid credit scene for Fantastic 4 the screen goes black and all you hear is a terrified voice begging and begging for mercy and for his loved ones to be spared; then you see a young Norrin Radd who falls to his knees and then looks up and says “I’ll do anything you ask”. Galactus slowly nods and then grants Radd the power of the Silver Surfer and it ends with Surfer saying “I am yours to command”..... Just my idea.

In the comics, during the Annihilation Wave, Galactus did fight two celestials at the same time, and mopped the floor with them. Granted, they were two weak celestials whom had just escaped an imprisonment by the other celestials, but still. The fight took so much out of him that the Annihilation Wave could take him down and turned him into a weapon.

Just read that for the Fourth time. Stopped reading comics in the early 70's had to get on with life, they went. When I was in my late 60's decided I would try Comics again, I was amazed at the Artwork and Colors and the Writers, nothing like the Comics I grew up on. I started with the Annihilation wave which were an amazing 3 Book Story, It was way better than a Disney Movie. You could make a bunch of movies from those books and the Associated books.

IF this is a more or less Voice Role, Thiey hit a 10 but if the Actopr interacts often and plays a sizeable role (note the Pun) Maybe a more well estabolished actor shouldve been casted BUTif theres more Villians in the movie like Dr Doom then this actor could be a Great choice. I was getting used to the rumors, with the possibility of Galactus being played by Javier Bardem or Antonio Banderas... But this choice is WAY better. Totally down with this choice, great actor and voice actor. Now, I hope they keep Galactus AROUND without killing him off, because he's got a lot of great involvement in many Marvel storylines.

I guess it works out but I think it would have been cool to say that they have been on earth 616 and then they got their powers after End Game and The Eternals. Like since mankind knows about space aliens and cosmic entities, plus the Celestial coming out of earth lol. Makes them want to go to space to collect energy from space or something to defend earth against BIG Threats to the world if they didn't have The Avengers or if the Avengers fail again... and they get thier powers and come back to earth lol.
