Just installed the Daemonum set into my Fender Jim Root Telecaster. It feedbacks more then the 81! Just had to increase my noise suppressor and gate. Definitely gets Jim's tone. Very thick.

Mark Snyder I had the same problem when I first put mine in lol Definitely need a noise suppressor. lol

Every amp feedbacks that isn’t clean

@@dylandoge1627 . But the feedback is normally controllable. With these pickups they are so hot they are squealing even at a low vol. Trust me there’s a big difference between these and an the 81. But like he said, just use a noise suppressor and you’re good to go.

Thanks for the clear explanation. And thanks for the clear and simple sound demos. Unbelievably. They are hard to come by on KZbin.

I have an Ltd SC that came with a Duncan JB and I kinda fell in love with it. But thinking about fishmans as well

If you love the 59 jb combo the Willie Adler set is great, as are the classics

,Awesome. I'm a big EMG 81 guy. These sound a little more open but still having that killer thing that the 81 does with power chords and such.

I'm an average sized EMG 81 guy. Kind of agree, getting really curious about them, always wanted to have an 81 kind of sound from a traditional looking pickup for certain guitars the regular EMGs just don't look right. Gonna check them out some time.

Mercator Jubio average size. I love that.

Always been a seymour duncan sh 5 custom guy. I never even bothered to try other pickups but these look dope

How do these handle Standard tuning? Are they overly bright?
@MetalHeadProductions2 жыл бұрын
I didn't try them in standard, but they were decently chunky and not at all thin so I don't think they'll have any problems in standard tuning

@@MetalHeadProductions thanks for answering my question. Im looking to replace a 81/85 combo in my epiphone LP custom for something more all round, to be used for hard rock/punk, etc. But cant make up my mind what emg pickups would fit the bill
@MetalHeadProductions2 жыл бұрын
@@bbck15 I'd recommend bathe 57/66 set. Those are my favorite EMGs and they are all around solid pickups

Are they that different from the regular 81/60 combo?
@MetalHeadProductions4 жыл бұрын
Massively. Much more dynamic and full sounding

How do these compare to the het set? While I enjoy the het set it just sounds like a bloated 81...I’m looking for something active that has just a bit of clank in the attack like a passive (aftermath, sh-6, jb) but w those 81 qualities with a bit more openness to them...
@MetalHeadProductions4 жыл бұрын
These aren't scooped in the mids like the hetset. These still had that bite and attack in drop b without an overdrive hitting the amp.

Sounds like drop B, especially considering that’s Slipknots primary tuning
