If you are worried about the gold fading or flaking off you could always spray the gold parts with a clear cover paint like the stuff you spray on you Gunpla after you've done some panel lining.

i got the white tiger zord and nearly all the thunder assault team with red dragon zord head im just missing rdz body and the phoenix zord along with the crown on the tiger zord and the hilt for his sword

***** Yeah, first problem, you'd have to learn to play a flute to use the darn thing. Second problem, I have NO idea how you could make a flute sound like a trumpet. Seriously, it would be physically impossible to get a trumpet sound out of this, as there is no bell. Just... look, if you know anything about Brass instruments, you should understand why it doesn't work.
