Something people always overlook on the lightning one is the gold they used is a bit more accurate to the show. The dragon dagger was never that chromed gold. It was similar in gold to his dragon shield. There is also weathering on the lightning one... which is also apparent on the show.

To be honest aside from the obvious I’d Say the Legacy is Great for Display Providing if no one touches it that’s why I think it should have came with the stand. And as for the Lightning Collection it’s great for when you want to Either use it as a Prop for a Fan Movie or when things get back to normal use it in your Cosplay or Halloween Costume. And or if you just want to pick it up and play with it or mess with it a little with out worrying about it breaking on you. Because for me the Legacy Version feels more Valuable if that makes any Sense because of the Die Cast on it. It just feels more like a display piece where as this Lightning Collation feels more like a Prop for you to take out and use.

Personally, if someone already has the Legacy Dragon Dagger, not a die-hard Tommy fan and/or have a limited budget, they can skip on the Lightning Dragon Dagger. This is however a perfect alternative for most folks who missed out on the Legacy. It also seems to be a better option for cosplays since it isn't as heavy.

The synth they use for the songs isn't exactly show accurate, but I love that we finally get something with the sound of the Dragonzord. It sounds like they possibly got that sound from that old soundbites album, because it has the whoosh mixed in it. The roar itself comes from Sound Ideas.

I got this one - because i missed out on the legacy dagger and have kicked myself ever since, that being said i'm really happy with this dagger it feels good in the hand (and heavy) it also looks great on the shelf, if i ever see a legacy dagger at a reasonable price i'd probably still grab one but i'm just glad i didn't miss out this time.

This isn’t bad but imo, I prefer Bandai’s Legacy Dragon Dagger/Zyusouken which is bigger and heavier as it’s made with shiny 24 carrot gold and diecast metal parts as well as more show accurate tunes. In fact, I have both of Bandai’s Legacy version and the Legacy Zyuranger Dragon Symphony Zyusouken that has the 4 accurate tunes from Zyurangers and MMPR. So what I've noticed with this as well as the new Power Morpher, it really comes down to personal preference. The Legacy items are great in their own right, but I'll give Hasbro credit where it's due, these are fun items. I'm not disappointed in the least.

Its aight. Im enjoying it. Mastered playing the dragon call in minutes. Only gripes I have with it are cheap shoddy paint job and I wish they woulda went the bandai route and used a little die-cast to add some heft. It feels too toy like
