I met this guy something like 15 years ago. If I remember correctly it was his 18th birthday. I was the bookie and we were at a little hole in the wall club in Louisiana right off i10. What I saw that night was quite difficult to take all in. If my memory serves me correctly, he was every bit as good back then as he is today. He was swapping hands back n forth from guitar to keys, left hand doing this, now it’s doing that. Right hand doing its own thing simultaneously also doing a bit of that and then a bit of this, all switching *guitar, keyboard, guitar, keyboard, wave hello to the audience, some more keyboard, guitar. Like it was absolutely crazy. I knew then I was meeting someone who would grow up to be significant. I knew this person would pave thier way with little to no issue. So happy to see him still doing it all these years later. Looks like he kept his nose clean and his eye on the prize. Great job bro!! Fun little side bit of memory from that night. The vocalist name was also Dustin and his birthday was the same as mine. Really weird thing to discover about a random vocalist passing through. But it did happen.
