They maybe listen to ghost because people told them it’s really nice. Then they get curious and think the name strapping young lad sounds like something fun. Then... well they get their face melted off. That’s a symptom of listening to syl, literal face melting.

Deanmon Winchester True enough, although some metal singers use their voice in a different style than they are used to, for example Devin and Corey Taylor got some real talent on their vocals.

What a fucking geezer this guy is he's just so unique and amazing. Got such a powerful voice like he sings with his whole body
@umokay1991 Жыл бұрын
Goddamn it's impressive how dynamic his voice is. He has such a powerful voice, but he can also do stuff that's quiet and soft really well. That's not as easy as you'd think, a lot of vocalists who sing loudly and with gravel/fry the way Devvy does aren't able to access those softer tones because their louder, fuller singing voice harmed their vocal chords so they're missing a little range of the softer tones, making them near impossible to sing unless you have incredible control over it.

Anyone that wants to see how good a singer they are try singing this. Sing it as it is presented here with emphasis on subtlety and see if it sounds good. There are a ton of singers that overly rely on volume, projection, vibrato, and/or dramatic shifts to hide that they don't know how to make a note stand on it's own. You'll know if you are one of those real quick when you try to sing this.
