Super adorable. Similar thing happened to me decades ago. As we started the intro and I needed to start singing the words failed to form in my mouth. I yelled out to the audience "what are the first words" and they all yelled back "you consider me a young apprentice!" -- it was a popular Police song at the time. After I got off the stage they congratulated me on how great the opener was getting the audience engaged like that (as if I hadnt completely blanked out on the song hahaha!)

What is beautifully evident here is how NOT uptight Icelanders are. Actually I get that from more than just this video. There's something about the people of Iceland that is so accepting and peaceful. That just seems to be their nature in general. They have no obvious hangups and are so at ease with each other. If you look closely and really pay attention to how they interact with each other you'll see it as well. Maybe we all could learn something from them.

mrfester42, I had such a wonderful time in Iceland. I found the Icelanders very open to me, a complete stranger and foreigner and a very talkative fellow! The liked to talk, were direct in stating what they liked or believed in, as well as what they did not like, etc. They really enjoyed banter!! Man or woman, they looked you in the eye and gave you their complete attention during the conversation. They are a very helpful people, my friend, Meryl and I got lost, and soon we had a group of several Icelanders arguing as too whose directions were right, all in good fun. They due exude calmness. Oh, and one more thing, they like to drive fast!
