I know! I wonder if she gets sick of it or ever feels disconnected from being approached like she is a god all the time? Hahah. I guess that’s why she is really protective over her personal life. Because that’s when she can just be Beyoncé and not be seen as “BEYONCE’!!”

Gucci Cone I partially agree with you, as I think she is an incredibly gifted and talented woman but I don’t necessarily see her as a cut above the rest. I agree that not writing your own music is a major disadvantage as a musician. Why wouldn’t you want to be in direct control of the narratives you tell? She has strong points and weak points as a musician just as every other usually does. Hence why I wouldn’t say the whole treating her like a god thing is warranted. There are many many talented musicians, I think the image she portrays of being untouchable adds to that element and plays into that feeling of ‘not being worthy of being in her presence’, as a lot of people react to her in that way. Don’t get me wrong, she is awe inspiring and intimidating, but still very human and imperfect like the rest of us. It gets a bit tedious seeing people always treating her otherwise.
