The chief of the festival called the movie “extraordinary” and “the perfect way to open the festival.” Adriana Paz, a Mexican woman, shared the Cannes Best Actress award with the cast of the movie; Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofia Gascon. Yes, some people dislike it, but that’s the nature of art. Not everyone will enjoy it. But many people love it too. You seem like a very biased hater, though.

This film is mid awards bait that's very transphobic and offensively racist towards Latin American culture. I really hope the Academy won't fall for it and nominate this but I highly doubt it. 😞

@@beegladd696 Yes it is, it's supposed to be about the title character and it's told from the lawyer's point of view which made Karla's character a supporting character and it perpetuates a lot of Mexican stereotypes.
