This song is so iconically 90s and yet somehow still so underrated. I always lumped her vocal style in with Bjork’s when I was younger, and then realized that Emiliana is also Icelandic. So ethereal 🥹

This song means alot to me. I first heard it when i was about 16 years old (24 now) and going through my metal/emo phase ;-) This song was just so different and made me feel so calm and alive at the same time. Hearing it now, it just makes me feel sad.

This woman has the voice of an otherworldly angel; In my opinion, the most underrated singer in the world today. Infact, shes inspired me so much I titled my own debut album (yet to be properly released) "Baby blue is born again" after one of her songs from the seminal: "love in the time of science" Emiliana-This is David Wilder here....I love you xxxxxx

I knew this song almost 20 years old, I used to love it. One month ago I visited Iceland, and it’s really strange that now I love this song much more. I feel that a lot of the sounds of the album Love in the Time of the Science was taken from the natural sound and frequencies in Iceland. Love Emiliana ❤

This is the album that Roland Orzabal from Tears for Fears produced, I believe. If you listen to his solo album, _Tomcats Screaming Outside_, you will get a reminiscent feel of it in this album. Wish Ro would produce more/do more solo work. The man is simply brill.

@Roxc24 I was thinking along the lines that she was in a bad relationship, and she is trying to get "free" of him but it hurts to leave. The vampire bite on her neck might just be a metaphor that he is draining her dry -- some relationships can do that to a person.
