A lot of people seem to be commenting on the language of choice for the album. I love the French stuff too, but making an album in English just makes sense. You can't pull musical influences from thin air. New city, new surroundings, new culture, new experiences... I dare say that living in a country where English is the dominant language would inspire (in a musician) English lyrics. N'est-ce pas?

elle ne se cantonne pas à interpréter "juste" ce qu'elle sait faire...c'est çà aussi évoluer en tant qu'artiste, si elle avait fait 5000 Végétal (puisqu'on dirait que pour la plupart c'est son unique chef d'oeuvre) tout le monde se plaindrait qu'elle fait toujours la même chose...jamais contents! :p

Ma Nie Les premières fois que j'ai écouté The Big Machine j'avais été très déçu par l'album et je l'avais rapidement remisé au placard. Je me suis décidé à le réécouter tout récemment, et finalement je le trouve très bon. Je continue cependant de penser que Végétal est son meilleur album à l'heure actuelle.

@Nemlods pourquoi l'allemand ? si tu veux pouvoir acceder a un public plus large sans forcément tourner pop... il faut choisir l'anglais...et le choix de l'anglais est logique pour 2 autres raisons... la plupart des artistes français connaissent mieux l'anglais, son vocabulaire etc... ce qui est essentiel pour aborder cette musique ... et la 3eme raison est que bon nombre d'artiste francais ont pour beaucoup plusieurs influence musicale anglo saxonne...alors l'allemand ca devient hypothetique
