agreed, BB is just a watered down version of GG, isn't one of the reasons GG wasnt that popular us is that it was too difficult to get good at?

Took you 2 months to come up with a response? And your argument is really REALLY character specific, right down to the bunch that are listed to be the easy characters; ie: Ragna = Sol, Jin = Ky, etc. Additionally, the only character that takes a nice hilarious time with his combo is generally scrub Chipp players, since experts can do the same damage, with a bit longer times. Treating everyone in BB to take that much time for a combo is appropriate. You can never complain about 1 sided matches.

I play GG and BB... and you are wrong at many points: 1) Hazama is the fan service of BB, not the litchi. When she gets in a bath as a scene as part of the story, then you can start saying she's fan service. 2) Comparing 2D fighters in an incorrect way. GG is far simpler than BB, but it rides on the concept: Simple =/= Easy. You'll never get your combos without practice, and it is harder in BB. Try it yourself. GG is faster paced. 3) SF is a pale name in 2D fighters, don't mention it. D

in a way, yes because guilty gear required you to get to know your characters inside and out and develop your own style of play, the mechanics were free enough for you to experiment and develop your own combos. as a consequence you could potentially beast with any character, so tiers meant little or nothing. this goes against the mindset of the typical weeaboo scraping around for an ego boost, by getting into BB to pick 'god tier' character and memorizing premade unbreakable training mode combos

I own both game series, I think I like BB, and it is indeed easier. I really like that BB combo doesn't rely on false roman cancel and easier to get into. I think the designing of False Roman Cancel is a major defect of GG. And the different between them, the combo for GG is more depended on timing, the BB combo is depend on space and weight more. SF is not interesting because it can't air dash, in my impression you, just zone-and-wait each other to death :-)

Also, Air Dashing and Double Jumping, ie Air Mobility, aren't really good reasons to hate a game. Ougon Musou Kyoku Cross is leagues better than SF could ever be, but only 3 characters have air mobility. One has a double jump (Eirika) and the other has an air dash (Eva-Beatrice) and the last one gets both, a double jump and an air dash (Bernkastel). But the game doesn't feel so constrained due to it.

even the longest chip combo, assuming you're playing against a fucking moron who will sit there and take it is literally 1/4 the time it takes to wait for some broken ass bullshit noel combo to finish. sorry, but bb has more in common with mvc than gg. and yes, guilty gear is more reactionary because of the far more offensive and defensive variables that go into a match. all bb is in a nut shell is watching jin, ragna or noel try to get the first hit for a 75-100% damage combo.

GG is not only fast paced, but it is far more of a reactionary fighting game than BB. Sorry, but having to just sit there for fucking three minutes doing nothing because there's no way of breaking free or recovering from the same preprogrammed dial a combo a la MVC3 destroys the pacing of the game and so the fun is destroyed with it. There's no room for individual style with characters intuition in BB as there is in GG, it's all combo memorization and that just sucks.

HADOKEN TO VICTORY! SF sucks. Always has and always will. There is NO selling point worth anything so I'm wondering why the heck do people like it so much?
