The writing staff writes the jokes and the slams for her. They then put them on cue cards for each actor involved to read, or will put them in "mini scripts" for each actor involved to memorize. That's how 99% of any and all interviews go with people in Hollywood, comedians and, anyone else interviewed that's promoting a new movie or TV show. Although sometimes if it's two or more comedians, they will write some of their own cue cards/script with the writing team. But the writing team will always be involved.
