I have Connect Four in my classroom, and I let kids come in my room and play during Friday morning recesses. It's something we had left in my house from my childhood: I'm pretty sure we bought it in 1974 when it first came out. A lot of fun for folks in the 6- to 8-year old range. I think you and Ty should play Monopoly next: a 24-hour marathon: you'll be best friends by the end. Ty, she did promise you another date: you get to choose the game.

You definitely can't play Monopoly in under 4 hours- not properly anyway! Nice suggestion, we love.

You two were a joy to watch. I'm a little disappointed by the "not my type" comment that have ended *both* of the last two videos though (if not more). What does that mean? And if after such a short time you know he's 'not your type' then why make a date (or two!) with him? Again, I'm not even sure what that phrase means, but perhaps its the cause of you not have a boyfriend/husband? Maybe instead say, "He's not like past boyfriends, but maybe that's a good thing, so I'll just have fun and see where this goes."

Sorry - to clarify: It seems to me this segment is a fun idea can people can watch and see what works well and what doesn't, and to guess if you two will hit it off.....but if it apparently goes very well, but you just end the video with "He's not my type", then what's the point?! The viewer feels like they've wasted their time. In hindsight who cares about the date, if your preconceived notions have already decided the outcome?

Watch some of Emily's other videos. She is VERY picky, almost no one is her type.
@danielhobgen61468 жыл бұрын
There's a reason she is in her 30's and single. She is picky. I think it is due to her height. Because she is tall, 5'11 or something. So for her to feel like the dainty, feminine counter-opposite to a burly, classic, domineering man he would have to be 6'5. But at that height he would also startle her, he would possess too much strength for her to feel safe. Being that tall and a woman is kind of a curse. For a man that height is fine, very admired by men and women.

why wasting a nice guy's time if you know he's not "your type"?
@gizmogoose.24868 жыл бұрын
Because they were committed to filling seven minutes and forty eight seconds and had to shoot and move on.

The Gentleman should always offer to let the woman go first. Furthermore, he should have let you take you accidental move back.
@danielhobgen61468 жыл бұрын
This is 2016. We don't treat women as inferior anymore. Either of them can go first. He was right to not let her take the accidental move back because she admitted that she is competitive and therefore she would not have let him take a move back after letting go of the coin. Competition is competition and wooing is wooing. And she didn't like him anyway so he would have been charitable and possibly lost and then get rejected as well. Also, she probably would have viewed him as weak if he let her walk over him. She seems like she wants a very domineering man, old school in a sense, taking charge of her, the household and the money.

Agree with you that you should let the lady go first but I don't think it was an "accidental move"... look at 03:38, she makes her move and then gives a slight smile just before he makes his winning move... then at 05:32 she makes that "accidental move", leting him get three in a row. She blocks this and again a little smile but just before he makes the winning move, she throws in her infamous question, "how many kids do you want?", which is a question she used on the first date of this series. I say "used" and not "asked" because if you watch her 10RW channel, it's come up as one of the questions NOT to ask on a first date. I might be reading too much into this and giving the girl more credit than she's due... but I don't think so.

Ricardo Albarraque Nice analysis. She's a sly one.
@ricardoalbarraque53528 жыл бұрын
Cheers... ... that she is but you need to remember that she's the presenter and Ty is the guest, so it's her job to make him feel comfortable. As for Ty, have to give the guy credit... by asking her out on the show, she really couldn't say no to a second date... sneaky but effective.

I think the game here should be to try to learn something about your opponent, but not to win the real game. He should let you win just to see how you acts as a wining person. Clearly he did not listen to you. So I think you did here a good job, he did not.

I think "dating" is not about finding a partner for playing kids games. As an adult man i look for a good hearted woman, having it in the right place. I don't like to play games any longer. Stupid shittest.
