Brad’s family was so sweet and understanding when Emily told her story about her old love. I don’t know if they were told to ask but it seemed very genuine. It made sense why his dad was saying “I was concerned when I heard she had a 5 year old daughter and if she’s going to want to move them to Austin”

Yes, she definitely acted soooo much more mature than the typical 24 yr old. But think about it - think about all she’d been through in her 24 yrs. She’d been in love, lost that love of her life, had his baby after she lost him, and then raised that child herself as a single mom for 5 yrs - all by the time she was 24. All of that will cause someone to grow up very very fast.

Victoria probably a combination of factors. They lived in different states, Emily was only in her early 20s and had a young daughter. It’s easy to get swept up in the show, they may not have been as compatible as they first thought, once outside of the show even though it was clear they loved each other.
