You will do great and he will add a layer of life to your family you could never imagine. My daughter is nearly 15, my birth was similar to yours, get trauma counseling, having a baby in the NICU is traumatizing even if he is doing well. Look after you, he will need you. ❤

Congratulations on your 6th blessing!!! Coming from a family of 7, my Mom is my queen and I still don’t know how she does it!!! Our family was brought even closer when our wonderful, amazing nephew, Sonny was born with an extra chromosome and is 4 years old and is a beautiful wonder to watch grow. He has a bright light that shines through him which attracts people of all ages to him. So much love and support not just from family but from DSAOC, Down Syndrome Association of Orange County. This is Sonny’s 4th year participating in the Buddy Walk and our team, NOTHING BUT SONNY DAYS, raises money & awareness to DS. I truly believe God gives these beautiful children to amazing parents and will bring more love & joy to your entire family then you can even imagine!!!

Hospitals are so messed up for their policies of immediately taking babies when they are different or slightly higher risk. Give the mothers a minute Jeez. It doesn't sound like there was any actual cause for this, I understand if they're struggling to breathe or something urgent but damn
@CaraT19782 жыл бұрын
As a former NICU nurse, sometimes we don’t have that second - as breathing or pulse may not be established by just rubbing baby to cry. After stabilizing, if not critical, baby would be brought into room for meet. Sometimes it’s life vs death- not “we’re messed up”
@janelane19122 жыл бұрын
50 percent of down syndrome people have heart defects. They most likely had to check if they had any because if not aware it could end their life early. A lot of down syndrome babies pass away from heart defects.
@wendymtzc2 жыл бұрын
Hospitals certainly over react… I had a home birth, my baby has DS and was perfectly fine… I understand many times babies do need immediate attention but DS doesn’t automatically mean their life is in danger right at birth.

I completely agree sorry not sorry! You can't give all 6 kids the quality attention you can when you only have 1-3. And the world we live in. I think it's kind of narcissist people who have tons of kids these days, or they are just oblivious and have their heads in the sand. But that's none of my business except hearing them be loud in public or brining them to our doctors office in the lobby...🤦🏻♀️
@LUCIANALOVESGOD2 жыл бұрын
@@Sincerely_SweetAesthete thank you!!! I was wondering why so many kids. Like poor kids they cannot have quality time it’s so many of them and now the last baby has Down syndrome poor soul may God help him. But she needs to stop 🛑 having kids
@Sincerely_SweetAesthete2 жыл бұрын
@@LUCIANALOVESGOD I felt sorry for them too 😢 I thought the exact same thing, and of course for the new baby and the whole situation. 😬it's also going to test their marriage to the fullest capacity so I hope they have lots of love and support around them. On a lighter note, how did they even have time let alone energy to make a 6th with all those loud chiles running round? 🤣🤣🤣 someone's getting snipped I can bet money on that. 😳

@@Sincerely_SweetAesthete I'm one of 6 kids and my siblings are my best friends in life even though now we are all adults. I can't imagine not having them in my life. My parents did the best they could. My mom was a stay home mom and she loved us all. Never felt neglected ever. However, saying that, I could not handle 6 kids personally. I wish her all the very best!
@Therezumee922 жыл бұрын
Not doing genetic testing with today's advantages is beyond stupid and kinda evil. ''You get what you get''...that's a take. It's not just you having to raise children, these children are the ones who have to live with it. Doing this via ignorance is selfish, just for the ego as ''I'm a good person''. But then again I'm not a pro lifer, I'm on the side of rational thinking.
@Kayredeemed122 жыл бұрын
Okay and? He’s going to be raised in a loving family who will accept and love him, whats the issue? They’re choosing to love their child no matter what the testing would’ve said, it wouldn’t have made a difference so why is that considered “evil”? I don’t see the harm in loving your child regardless, doesn’t make sense.
@Therezumee922 жыл бұрын
@@Kayredeemed12 I'm talking about everyone, not just her. It tests for many things. So it's better to know what the hell you are doing. Sure, she hadn't changed anything, but it sure is better to go in informed rather than be blinsided, because there could be worse things you subject a child to live with just because you believe in a judgmental bearded dude's will.
@Kayredeemed122 жыл бұрын
But I also see the point of loving your child regardless, some people just don’t believe in terminating pregnancies and that’s okay too.

Hey you all will get no contrats from me you had more than your share of congrats. I am discriminated with my two small chihuahua and pug yet I get no pet benefits no government money I pay everything for them and I paye double child benefit for other people’s kids when I never got that as I kid we barely had something to eat and I couldn’t go to school or work or have friends. Me and my sister planned an escape when I was 17 and we save the 7 kids. 7 kids that my mom and father never cared for neglected and abuse. I shouldn’t have to pay today for others peoples kids when I never got that as a kid and I have fur Babies I need my f***g money for my animals family. And that’s not all I can’t even find a home that accepts animals private or public because 3 dogs is over the limite. How dare you all not call this Injustice out 😡😤🤯
