I recently started watching Criminal Minds cause I had it on my list for such a long time and quarantine gave me the push to start it. I'm still on season 8 so I know Emily will be back but for the moment she's not here and as soon as I heard the house metaphor I suddenly knew she was talking about herself. I had this video in mind for a couple of days and I know it's not perfect but she's one my favourite characters in the entire movie/tv show world. Can't wait for her to come back and I hope you like it cause I made it in a couple of hours ♥

The thing is, they never really showed Emily dealing with adjusting to being back at the BAU after what happened with Doyle. They just made her come back like it was something everyone could always do. They never even showed if Emily told her mother or any other living family members that she was alive (I know she and her mother aren't close but I'm sure Elizabeth would've at least been at her funeral). But no, we never got to see that at all.

I love her so much and watching her trying to find herself and going through everything that Doyle put her though was harder to watch than when he tortured and attempted to kill her. She is amazing, selfless, and so incredibly strong. Even though Emily Prentiss isn't a real character I will always hold her close to my heart
