Any particular reason why the intro Hog demo was played at a completely mild and gentile level whilst the rose demo was jammed hard? Nice little guitars. The pickup components look a bit to pronounced for my liking, what is that bristle looking thing below the soundhole?

I’ve the Emily Rose tobacco burst with cedar top and mahogany back/sides and love it. Highly recommend Audens.

Is it boxy, lacking bass, or does the deeper body make a difference, compared with other parlours...am worried they might sound thin...ta

@@akfisher7138 It's remarkably un-boxy and gives far more bass than I would expect. It feels more substantial both physically and in sound. Lovely little guitar.

On this video - prefer the mahogany. It sounds more balanced with more clarity - and has more "soul" than the rosewood. In the room of course it may be totally different!

I've only played the cedar/mahogany one but it does play gorgeously, it's got a very full sweet sound.

Hi where can I purchase this, as the website is confusing, with pictures not matching spec, and variable spec too. Cheers. I am interested in the cedar mahogany one. with the larger body shape. I notice on the website the sizes vary for this Emily Rose model.

The bridge string spacing is 2 3/8" or 60.3mm. Does that feel very wide for finger picking?

I was surprised at how comfortable it is for fingerstyle, together with the 44mm nut. I expected to find it cramped, but it's really nice and you can dig in a bit more on the notes, it's very responsive. And that's on the more mellow cedar/mahogany version - I imagine the spruce/rosewood one to be noticeably louder as in this video.

It's a different kind of sound with the cedar top. But I can tell you, it's one of the sweetest guitars I've ever played. Presumably because of the deeper body, it doesn't sound anywhere near as 'boxy' as you'd expect from a parlour. Now I'm nowhere near the guitarist Ben here is, but it sounds gorgeous, especially if you play fingerstyle. The overtones and sustain are really something else.

they look great sound great but i just found out there made in china /? thats a lot of money for a chinese guitar and the auden website does not tell you this you are given the impression there hand made in the UK , ITS PUT ME OFF A BIT

As I understand it the main basic build is done in China in a small workshop then the build is finished in the UK and the set-up etc too.

I'd seriously recommend actually trying one if you can. They are beautifully made and sound exquisite. I was a bit blown away, and no I don't work for them lol.
