When do I post?
I post every Saturday at 11:00am ET (8:00am PT, 9:00am MT, 10:00am CT) and if for some reason I'm not able to post at that exact time or day for a particular week, I'll make sure to let you know ahead of time on my Community Tab or Stories. I broke one of my dolls neck peg when I was little. I found her in my garage, and tried to fix her. This is what I did: I used pliers, and took the neck peg out of her head. Then, I used hot glue and glued it in the neck. Finally, I popped the head back on, and she was fixed. The only bad thing is, that now the head can only move from side to side, not up and down. Other than that, it worked perfectly fine! I don’t know if they’re is a better technique, but, this seems to work the best for me

You know you can use a hair dryer to soften up the doll heads. My husband does all my doll ‘surgeries’ 😅 he uses a travel hair dryer to soften up the heads, then he uses my metal manicure cuticle pusher sticks to pry the heads off. He’s never broken a thing with that method!

You could try gluing the broken pieces back together. Try removing the neck peg with tweezers! I've heard that sometimes helps. Maybe try leaving the heads in the hot water longer so their softer?

2:51 I broke that exact dolls peg too and and I used appliers to pull it out and hot glued it back onto the neck. This may not be the best strategy but it’s better than it being broken.

It depends what part of the neck is broken but if there is some sort of a loop still on the neck on the body (or one to fix) u can use pipe cleaners to loop around the other loop and then add buttons and mini elastics to thicken it up to create a diy neck peg. I’ve seen my froggy stuff do it and she might have a video on it I think. But ye hope that helps and I LOVE the new family!! ❤️ #ddsquad

I know it can be really scary at first, but it’s very simple to do. If your scared, you could always try piercing a dolls Ears that you don’t care about that much before you pierce your favorite dolls ears☺️

Delightful dolls I have a tip for the "broken" neck peg. What you do is to use hot water and warm up the head and use pliers to remove the neck peg. Luckily the neck peg isn't broken so next is to put the neck peg into hot water for a few seconds and then after that put the rounded part of the neck peg on the support on the neck and all fixed. A pro tip: cut of the excess plastic on the neck peg so it will be easier to put the head on the neck peg

If you don’t have anything to do with the basketball hoop that you got, you could always take the net part and glue it to a piece of styrofoam and hang it in a bit or girls room

Also I don’t know how to fix it but if you buy another doll I’ve seen people put the Barbie head in a plastic bag (with the body on still) and you leave it in for maybe 2 hours or an hour because it’s supposed to soften the peg thingy :) and than you can try to take the head off! Hopefully this helps 💗💗

sorry to see that the neck peg broke! I think you needed to soak the doll in near or boiling water longer until the head is super squishy and warm but not too warm so you can't handle the head

I was thinking of giving her a standard made to move body. The problem is I couldn’t find a match. I thought the new wheelchair Barbie might have been a good choice. Now I don’t think so. To fix the neck peg you’re gonna need to pick it up with some tweezers and then there should be a tiny opening and you should connect it like a chain
