This is such an inspiring success story! Emily's journey shows that with dedication and a clear focus, incredible things are possible. Her emphasis on [mention a key element from the video, if possible] is particularly noteworthy. This video is incredibly motivating and provides valuable insights for anyone selling on Etsy. Thank you for sharing this inspiring story!

Hi! This was very encouraging. Your guest just confirmed my idea about the planner niche that I was thinking about doing but I kept telling myself that I didn’t think it would be helpful or sell. I am very grateful for people like you and your guests who don’t mind sharing ideas and encouraging others. May God bless you all.

Etsy is full of creators. My products which I supposed were unique but couldn't be sold. I stopped uploading there. Then the store got suspended. 😏 But my Zazzle store is on and also made some sales. But problem is the sale comes from US and Aus only. I can't understand much about the culture and practices about these countries as I am not from there. But thanks to you, this channel might be helpful to me.

To me, this "interview" sounds very strange. A supposedly successful person talks about how they became successful and gives tips on Etsy and the products they sell. However, these tips are extremely generic. At no point do they get specific, and everything seems very constructed. Let's be honest: These tips could come from anyone who has watched a few KZbin videos about Etsy. The fact that a large part of the "interview" focuses on selling a course about how to make money on Etsy only reinforces my impression that this "testimony" is a scam.
@megavideomarketingАй бұрын
If you want their "secrets", buy their course, so they can make more $$ from buying their course than selling their products. That's how these guys make a good chunk of the money nowadays.
@RyanHoguePassiveIncomeАй бұрын
My next interview with Emily will be a completely free step-by-step multi hour course where she reveals everything, make sure you're subscribed so that you don't miss it 👍
@RyanHoguePassiveIncomeАй бұрын
You figured it out - secretly, no one is successful selling print on demand! You're the smartest guy in the room - congrats! 😅
@nakatosh8020Ай бұрын
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome The video is titled: "Emily sold $500,000 on Etsy by focusing on THIS!" I think a title like "Looking for an online course to sell on Etsy? Here's a good one" would be much more fitting in my eyes. You don't even need to be sarcastic. At least I made an effort to explain what bothers me about this video - and even comments that aren't positive are liked by the algorithm. It's always bad when the video doesn't match the title. People then simply have the wrong expectations. However, a catchy title is of course better for clicks. It always depends on what you want to achieve. A look at your pinned comment gives a very subtle hint of this.
@tinydream21 күн бұрын
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncomethat’s not what the commenter said. They said the bulk of people doing this are making more money from courses than products, which is provably true. Why else would they do it, for one thing, and there are videos on YT breaking this down. No reason to be defensive about reality unless there’s something about that reality you wish to hide.

I'd recommend focusing on a single product type and niche initially, and expand from there over time
@MrKirshyАй бұрын
I'd be curious to know How many stores does she runs. Is she still running her original store or has she expanded?
@RyanHoguePassiveIncomeАй бұрын
Not sure, but I personally prefer a single general store (you can use sections to differentiate as needed)
@MrKirshyАй бұрын
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome thanks for the reply. This has been my biggest internal question. My store is currently just apparel, t-shirts, hoodies, etc. I want to expand into other items but not sure if I should open a new shop... My store isn't niche specific.
@metternich05Ай бұрын
I've been following your channel for a while and I found plenty of value in it. I also accepted the fact that the sole purpose of the channel is touting your paid courses. But FFS please stop using clickbait titles. It's reason enough for me to immediately unfollow anyone. Using clickbait is extremely counterproductive, and you of all people should know it.
@RyanHoguePassiveIncomeАй бұрын
Which part was clickbait? Emily literally surpassed $500,000 in sales on Etsy in under 2 years by focusing on the GIFT niche. If you'd like, email me ryan@ryanhogue.com so I can consult you on my upcoming KZbin video titles 👍 I wouldn't want to upset you
@metternich05Ай бұрын
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome Thanks for your reply, but you got me wrong, it's not what I mean by clickbait. It's just the "focusing on THIS" part. If you omit it entirely the title is fine. Even better if you put anything like focusing on SEO or product descriptions or whatever. Anything tangible will do.

How can we safely sell on Etsy? I get suspended my pod etsy store and they said its against their handmade and vintage policy 🙂

I've been selling POD on Etsy for 6 years. You need to follow their rules when creating each listing...be sure to check the options that say you designed it yourself, you have help in making the item because you're unable to make it yourself, and tell Etsy which POD manufacturer you're using.
