As EMD stated a demand letter is normal in a Civil suit and it didn't mention money only requested a confidential mediation to discuss the accusations. The demand letter was sent to his attorney and the lawsuit didn't mention Jay-Z. The lawsuit listed Diddy and A and B. It wasn't until Jay-Z decided to post to his millions of followers on social media that he was being accused and "not giving you one red penny" that Buzbee amended the lawsuit replacing A with Shawn Carter

I work in the music industry and spotify have gone too far with these genres. I actually find it disgusting that they are practically flaunting the power they have over artists in the music industry. It's trashy. Spotify has full control over artists and record companies and pays them nothing. I am still ASTONISHED this is legal, considering how much Napster-pushback there was by the major labels in the 00s. If Spotify are doing this as a joke that's fine but 60s Psychedelia is 60s Psychedlia and not 'witchy music'. I hope the industry slams Spotify for this.

That's a different girl. This girl said she just happened to call the Diddy 1800# for an unrelated case. She said Buzbee's office tried to force her to lie that she was graped by Diddy and Jay-Z...She claimed when she refused she was dropped as a client causing her to fear for her safety... She is now being represented by Jay-Z's attorney anonymously out of fear of retaliation from Buzbee. So many interesting things about this and how lucky for Jay-Z to have this happen within 48 of Jay-Z being named... You would think Buzbee would already have her name if she was a client 🙄

I think as of now, it's pretty clear that Diddy held these parties where illegal shit happened, and it's clear that many other celebrities attended these parties (especially someone like Jay-Z, and probably some other big rap names). Exactly what is known by these other celebrities is questionable, but if Diddy's advertising them as "freak-offs" in the first place, I think it's pretty clear that most of the attendees were aware of what was taking place (unless it was a celebrity's first time being invited or something, and they really didn't know what to expect - even then though, they possibly would've walked into the mansion, seen what was happening, and walked out, without ever discussing it with anyone, which would still be illegal). Even if it's true that Buzbee is trying to "extort" Jay-Z by threatening him in some way (even though that's basically what a demand letter *is*, and it's perfectly legal unless you cross a certain line), the fact remains that Jay-Z clearly attended at least some of these parties, likely knew what took place, and was possibly directly involved, so I don't really care if he's being extorted for it. If it's true that Buzbee is trying to get clients to lie about things that happened, that's horrible, but at least in the specific case of Jay-Z, I find it much more likely that he was involved in illegal activity, as opposed to this just being a flat-out lie from Buzbee. Frankly, though, I think these various victims should be going to some other firm, not to Buzbee, because he's got too much bullshit surrounding him. Coincidentally, lawyers from Quinn Emanuel also defended Baldwin, the NY mayor, and a bunch of others recently. They've been involved in a lot of these high-profile cases lately.

To report a mayor law firms to the Bar, in my opinion, is of no use. We have seen this in the Tom Girardi case. Frequent reports were made but no action was taken until it was to late. As far as I know Tom Girardi is still walking free and still enjoys a fairly comfortable life. So reporting to the Bar doesn’t work. BTW has Tom Girardi ever paid any dollar he owes?
