I absolutely loved that new sequence!!! I am a former dancer and I really have a soft spot for art, dance, music or anything similar. Meaning I bawl my eyes out anytime I see some piece of emotional art. Or any art, actually. From the bottom of my heart I wish you could go back to doing what you love again. ❤️

As a fellow Yorkshire lass I appreciate the love she feels for her home and the performance here and how much it meant to her having all her loved ones and people who've shaped her into what she's become. She truly loves her job and her crying at seeing herself performing is testament to how much she has given to her art. She is totally amazing and deserves all the recognition she is and has received throughout her career so far. I always cry while watching cirque performances. Even if the part isn’t sad. It’s just beautiful. I saw Love in Vegas once (theBeatles mean a lot to my family, my parents used to sing us Beatles songs as lullaby’s) and was crying within the first five minutes because I thought, “This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” Those people just know how to connect the movement’s to the music and story so well that it draws you in so quickly. It’s a little taste of perfection in a really hard world to live in.

It highly depends on the complexity of an act but l like to say if you perform an act about 50 times (both in training or in stage) you start living it. That's not perfection yet but that's when u get there

I saw this performed three times. One of my favorite performances. The violin is amazing, the atmosphere is brilliant. The fight for air. I've always felt the skaters represented the ice crystal was falling through, and your duo trapeze act was her fighting the ice to come back to the surface. Just a beautiful depiction that relates to my life experiences. Thank you for your time, hardwork and dedication. I will never stop fighting for hope. Fighting for love. Fighting for air.

I got super lucky to watch a cirque show as a kid. One of my mom's colleagues had some sort of huge anniversary and invited a 100 people to Saltimbanco, including my mom and our family. I remember perfectly being super enthralled. I still hope that one day I'll get the chance to watch another show and relieve that magical feeling. I have such high respect for the entire team-the performers and artists, the musicians, the costume department and everyone else. Thank you for giving us a glimpse behind everything that goes on behind the magic, and sharing your passion with us. I have goosebumps all over ❤️

Emily you brought me to tears. It was so beautiful to watch you reacting to your absolutely stunning perfomance. It's nice to see that you're proud of what you achieved and I can feel everything you said about missing being on stage. I don't know how it is to perfom every single day but I'm a showacrobat and when we do shows or compete in competitions it's just - so amazing. I can't describe it it's like for these 5 or 6 minutes performing and playing a character I feel like I'm exactly where I want to be. I have no idea who I am or what to do with my life but for the performances I know it. There is no other feeling like that and watching you in this video just reminded me how much I miss this feeling. This year we would have competet in the world championship for showacrobatics which only takes ever 4 years place and it's not prostponed, it's just over. That probably would have been a one in a lifetime chance to perform in front of 6500 people and it's over. So Emily you probably won't read this but if you do I cannot imagine how you all feel right now with this pandemic... not knowing when you'll be able to get back again, to habe jobs again but I do know what it's like to perform and not being able to - not in the way you do but at least a bit of it. I wish you all the best, you are a very big idol for me and I really really hope you'll be able to get back soon❤

Ever since I saw the first Cirque du Soleil, I always wondered how performers were experiencing that on an emotional level. I suppose that you're never tired of flying through the air despite the repetition. A great reaction video to your own performance. I don't think I'd see this if covid never came around!

Oh wow you were at my family member’s Cirque! I was raised on Guy’s circus arts... we all were: Lol. If you grew up in this fam you were raised on Cirque & learned math via poker. Lol. Although I do have some poker tips for Guy if you see him... cuz his Twitter is suspended again. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ But if you see him, tell him his cousin on the west coast says hi & sends her love. He was my hero as a kid tbh. My grandpa had a lot of respect for him too. Said he would do well in life. And I’m super stoked about his water foundation, cuz that’s also a family thing cuz we come from farmers. I’m just as passionate about water. Lol. He was always nice to me growing up, even long distance. How awesome of an experience to be in Cirque! Like goals right there. And in one of my fav shows! Now I’m a fan. I do parrot training on the other side of the world, but using Cirque to train my cockatoo... & she loves it! She did an aerial hoop performance on our channel last summer that fans loved. A whole water theme too. Lol. We had to stop for now cuz of life, hope it’s not forever, but just wanted to say hi & that I loved your performance & hi from the Laliberté fam. ❤️

I’ve been to a couple of Cirque du Soleil shows and Crystal was my favourite. I have never been more enraptured and in awe of the artistry and athleticism of a show than I was at Crystal. We laughed, we cried, we jumped, we shouted...everyone was on the edge of their seats throughout the show. Were you a part of the troupe touring Canada?

It’s wonderful to hear your experiences and passion in such a fabulous show, so many talented athletes/performers who spend hours upon hours of training to entertain the public who are now waiting to get back to performing when safe to continue in world class productions. My son was also a performer in a number of scenes in the aquatic show Le Reve at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas performing 2 shows each evening and as a result of the pandemic has seen the show closed permanently. Keep living The Dream!

I mostly do volunteer children's theater/dance and it's been so rough to not see the kids for the first time in a decade. I got sick at 22, so I couldn't coach or perform anymore. The kids kept me sane, and they are my perfomance legacy....and I miss it every damn day.

I know how you feel. I was touring with a big musical before covid. Thought we’d be back out over the summer but of course its up in the air and no one knows when live performances will be able to happen again and especially touring shows. Its definitely a strange and difficult feeling leaving the thing you love because of something completely out of your control. There is nothing that replaces the feeling of being on stage when you know its what you are meant to do. We will be back one day, I know it! Sending you love from Canada, Emily ❤️
