My Disneyland Dancer Audition Experience

I have not auditioned for Disneyland in over 20 years but it gave me lots of experience and taught me dancing skills. Eventually, while I didn’t succeed in them, I did wind up working there for 6.5 years! I wish you the best of luck in future auditions and never, ever give up!

Watching this video gives me anxiety for you but I really wanna try out cause I love dancing and I’ve never really taken a dance class except 1 for a semester this year and it was so much fun and doing musicals but growing up I’ve always wanted to perform for Disney would you recommend? And how would you have managed working at the park while going to SD? Sorry for the questions I just wanna hear someone else’s output you know?

Hey Juda! If you have the opportunity to audition, definitely do it! It is such an amazing experience and you learn so much from it. I actually do not work for Disney, but I am now a dancer at Seaworld San Diego!

i’m not the most experienced dancer but i’m doing a cruise line dancer audition because why not? and plus they start recognizing your face, and i’ve heard of people getting casted for performers at dancer auditions

Do you know if a "Character and Parade Performer" audtion is also for dancers or is that just parade characters?

Parade performer is for dancers! But they are usually looking for both if its a character and parade performer audition :)

Yes it never hurts to try!! You never know what the casting director is looking for that day :)

No, not at the one I attended! It will say on the audition info if you will be singing or not :)
