I want to try the msf natural! I just got the NYX powder that's a supposed dupe and I'm enjoying it but I really want to try the MAC one but it's so expensive unfortunately! I have to just do it because I've literally wanted it for over 10 years since it was super popular back in the day! I got the studio fix powder on sale for $18 recently but I haven't tried it yet! I still love MAC! I don't care what's trendy or not!!!

Yeah, their foundations are still my favorites, though I use other things. The water weight one is one of the best light coverage foundations (so much better than the glossier imo). Their eye primer is the best and strobe cream is one of the original glowy primers and I use both of them daily. In summer the I use the Natural Radiance primer because it has some oil control but still gives a glowier base.

I remember stopping my nail biting about 48 years ago when I was about 11 years old due to giving it up for Lent. I'm not even a practicing Catholic anymore, but for some reason, it did the trick, and since Lent lasts for 40 days (I believe), it helped me to break the habit. I haven't bitten my nails since then. Re: Dermablend dropper! This dropper might be one of the ones where you have to unscrew the dropper cap from the bottle, squeeze the bulb on top of the dropper while it's out of the bottle, then close it back up and release your squeeze on the bulb when the dropper is submerged in the product. I had a Volition serum whose dropper packaging functioned like this, and the brand actually had to release instructions! Hope that helps!

About 17 years ago, an ex friend was getting married. I went all out but putting on makeup isn’t my strong point. I went to the MAC counter and bought $70 worth of products. Back then that was a lot. I tell the makeup artist that I was going to a wedding. She proceeds to tell me I could have my makeup done by them twice. I went Hell yeah!!! They did an amazing job on me. Stunning makeup and it lasted. I still have their brushes!!!!

With MAC, a product that I've been using and still use is their Strobe Cream and paint pots. For the Strobe Cream, I've used both the Pinklite and Goldlite throughout the years. I use the strobe cream for its skin care benefits, as a luminizing primer, dewy highlighter, and occasionally as a luminizing mix-in for my light-medium cover foundations. For the Paint Pots, I've used Painterly and Soft Ocre as really good eyelid primers. I have very oily eyelids and these are the only products that have really controlled the oil on my lids and prolong my eyeshadow wear.

Try waffling a quest protein bar....take about 3/4 of one bar (I used chic chip cookie dough) and cook in waffle maker about 2-3 minutes. I topped mine with sugar free syrup. So good!

Alamay is so awful with their shade ranges! Also, physicians formula is notorious for this. And high end brands seem even worse; looking at you, Hourglass. These are large companies; they have the resources to expand their shade ranges to include more people of color, yet they refuse to. I have fair to light skin and can always find a shade that accommodates me, for *any* makeup product I’ve ever been interested in. I can’t imagine not having the option to purchase anything that would work for my skin tone one time, let alone over and over again. It’s clear that some brands just don’t care to represent POC and now that I’ve seen it, I won’t ignore it. I’m voting with my wallet and won’t buy from companies who don’t make their products to represent *all* the people in America. Plainly, this shit is unacceptable and I won’t participate in its normalization any longer.

Isn't it funny MAC is an 'underrated brand'. MAC has definitely been de-throned. They were late to get a rewards program, they never had sales and were also late to get onto palettes. Also, remember the phase of "de-potting" MAC shadows and disassembling their empty palettes to fit more pans? Well, MAC fought that. I remember my MAC store telling me they were "cracking down" on people doing that. Instead of fighting it, MAC should have listened to the consumer and said "what are we missing here? Where is the gap in our market". Consumers moved on, simple as that. I still live by many of their products for sure including Fix+, brushes and lipstick, Studio Fix powder....

So glad you brought up Thebalm. I love their eyeshadow formula and their Balm of Your Hand palette is a really great eye/cheek palette. My favorite products are Mary Louminzer (highlighter), their bronzers, and Even Steven which is a weird foundation/concealer hyrbrid that gives amazing coverage, but can be sheered out with some moisturizer to make a softer look.

I didn’t get into MAC until it was already forgotten on KZbin. I find the products that I constantly grab for are the Studio Fix powder (it’s light enough for my skin), Prep & Prime, Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour, Lightscapade MSF, and In Extreme Dimensional Lash Mascara!

That Laura Gellar palette is gorgeous! I think it would be good for fall, too, and that was what the shade name reminded me of. Dermal end is awesome if you have scars or major discoloration.

I love Besame too! Their powder blushes are my favorite & I’m sad that they’re no longer available. I’m adding Laura Geller & Mally to my list of brands to explore. I placed a MAC order & Black Friday & absolutely love the products I received. I forgot how easy their eyeshadows are to use; there’s no worry of fallout. After years of soft messy shadows like ABH & Lorac, they are so welcome in my collection.

I get rid of dark eye makeup smudges with a q tip with eye primer on it. It has just enough friction to remove it but blends in with my foundation makeup. I remember the Mally Prep and Prime in that compact!
