Me too! I own tons of makeup but had always steered clear of BM b/c I don't like loose powders or the mineral "sheen" a lot of those type of products seem to give to more mature skin. Their Invisible Bronzer I picked up in the Ulta 21 Days recently changed my opinion on the brand b/c I'm also not typically a bronzer fan but I adore that Bronzer! I bought 3 shades of it!! Lol Would love to see some other great products by them that you recommend.

After much consideration I gave in and bought the Bobbi brown crushed liquid lip balm and it’s amazing!!. I have very dry lips so I also got a lip scrub. The formula isn’t drying and when it fades it fades beautifully. Thank you Emily for introducing me to this product!!

Love seeing more Bare Minerals products being used. It's my Summer go to and my no makeup look. Warmth works great for my tone after my face gets a small amount of sun. Please update on the spray. At 48, I need a spray after applying BM. FYI, a neat trick I used on my mature skin that's dry to normal is putting Smashbox oil primer on, just a tad, then buff in my BM products. I never thought I would like an oil primer but it really gives a nice glow to my foundations,

I have used the Bobbie Brown gel liner for years, and I love its staying power. I have watery/dry eyes, and this eye liner lasts all day long. It applies easier than most other brands I have tried. I laughed when you talked about tight-lining your upper eye. I am in my 60’s and I just started making it a part of my every day makeup routine about a year ago. The older I get the fewer lashes I have. This technique makes them look fuller. I thought the same thing when I first did this. “Why am I 62 years old and NOW I learn about tight-lining?” You are only 30 years ahead in the game. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks!

After a long day in the office...an Emily video is a great way to destress and wind down. I used still foundation before, the one with the built in concealer in the cap. i forgot why I stopped using it... it oxidized on me. 😟 I love the way the Bobbie Brown concealer brightened up your under eye. Love BB eye pencils too. Lately my eyes have been getting watery and red from all the Oak pollen here in South Central Texas that I’ve stopped tightlining my lash line for now but it does make a difference. I’m in love with my Born This Way Foundation and I alternate concealers. (MAC and Born This Way) I recently have rediscovered Laura Geller items. Eye palettes and eye crayons. I can create a quick look and get out the door.

☀️🏊🏻‍♀️ I have a video request!!! I don’t know what it would be called exactly but something along the lines of summer makeup or summer mama makeup. So like, makeup you can throw on in the morning and be ready for what the day brings. Look nice walking into the grocery store, but you could take it to the pool or beach. So maybe a lightweight coverage that you can apply with fingers, waterproof mascara and cheek color, a colored lip balm? I don’t know, you’re the pro (: but I’m looking for a great easy lightweight coverage product and I can do for pool and beach days but still look cute! Ya know?? Love your videos 🎥💕☀️

Oh, I like your quote. My mom's advice was always, "Whenever you don't know what to do, just do the next thing." It might sound kind of dumb, but that advice got me through graduate school. I just discovered your channel. You are so helpful for me. I haven't worn moisturizer or makeup for just over a year. I had to do a purge of my brushes and some of my makeup. This is a genetic rare condition, so it is doubtful the makeup and brushes were tainted by my skin. But I will feel better using fresh, I purchased an inexpensive brush set I think from Amazon, and frankly for less than $10 they are awesome and it gave you a cheatcard that tells you what each brush does. I appreciate your run through on all sorts of makeup. It helps me decide on what products to test and buy. Plus you tell how each works, how much color they lay down. Very helpul, thank you so much!

The Ula Johnson looks very youthful and pretty on you! I've been using my original loose faux tan to match my self tan and have used it for years. I love the original it never breaks my face out. The new products always break me out. I wish they would bring back more original collections like in the beginning. I shopped yesterday on eBay for new loose colors to add to my collection. I had seen Wayne Goss using the technique of lining under the top lashes a few years ago. I have been doing this for quite a while with powder shadows and a very small flat brush, and it works really well. Sometimes I go over the powder with a pencil liner for a more pronounced look. And then I don't have to try to line my top lashes. Being older, with thinning lashes, this really makes it look like I've got fuller lashes. It's really nice for older women like myself because sometimes lining the eye makes them look smaller or it's just really harsh.

Some great finds in here. I love Riviera palette too and I'm def going to try this combo. Also love those Bobbi Brown products, they really brought the skin to life and I've been on the hunt for a good under eye dark circle corrector. Thanks for the great reviews of so much new stuff!

Every time I think you're going to totally miss the spot between your eyes with foundation you hit it right at the very end!!! LOL! I am so happy you used color and showed everyone you can do a classy normal every day look with these palettes!! It's beautiful and wearable, getting KZbinrs over 30 to even try some color is like pulling teeth!! THANK YOU!! I plan to get the Blue Blood palette (in part because the formula is so good) but I'll use the other colors not blue as normal, he gives a few great transition/crease shades and then the shimmer blues or greens exactly as you just did (lid & lower lash line). Although I am curious to try the very dark midnight blue as a darken outer V at some point. It's a fun process to just play and see what happens, just like you did!! You get mad respect from me! fyi...really interested in the Bareminerals cooler toned bronzer. xo

I love the Riviera palette ive used it several times now. I knew once I saw it that I had to have it lol. I've been obsessed with the colourpop jelly shadows as of late, they're amazing!!! But I've also been pulling older products back out and that's been fun too.

I love all of your eye looks, but this one is soooo pretty. I don't wear the kind of eye looks you do, but I enjoy watching your process and I always learn something. I really like the brow color. So much softer looking than your usual brow color. Well done!

I recently tried the La Neige Lip Sleeping Mask and I was so surprised at how good it is! It does last really all night long, moisturizes the lips heavenly and is for once so different from all other lip balms I used until now. Let's wait for Emily's opinion... ✩✩✩

Oh, I LOVED Richard Scary books and videos for my son way back in the day. Just sweet, quiet and educational. Emily, I don't even know if they still make videos, but I'm sure you can find them somewhere. No loud, crazy characters, unless talking animals is crazy, lol. My son loved Lowly Worm, lol
