I remember when I was in high school I would take quite a few “mental health days”. During my senior year my mom would even take off from work to spend the day with me and we would just hang out, shop, and just reset together. It was so fun and always much needed! Love to see the honesty and showing that skipping school for your mental health is OKAY!

I've been skipping school now for a week tomorrow is my last day of skipping, but i was so emotionally drained i just needed it so much i got sleep, i worked out, i studied, i prepared for a lot of tests i think about 5 i have next week and i generally just took a brake from everyone. I advise it to every student

Girl i can relate to this. I recently skipped 2 days of school because my teacher announced a test spontaneously and i had a full on panic attack at school. It is more than ok to take breaks for mental health and other reasons. Just know that whatever feels right to you is the right decision.
