The scenes at 2:20 and 2:33 seem to me as completely out of the rest of the video, in color, sharpness, aesthetic and vibe. The rest flows and I can connect the landscape shots and the comic bones (where those stock or self created?) but yeah…those 2 scenes are just disconnected to me. I think I am only this struck by it, because I otherwise really liked it. And it could very well be that I just don’t „get it“ why those where chosen, in the way they are

Yes, those clips are very out of place. But then, these montage/collage videos are all just cobbled together from any old rubbish because music companies and labels, and outlets these days require a video. At least 90% of music videos are just crap, but to get exposure each singer/band needs to make one.
