D3 definitely gets better with age. The first movie will always be the best, but I think as the original fans of the trilogy age, the third one will definitely be more appreciated because the life lessons invoked in D3 are lessons that can only be appreciated as we go through similar experiences ourselves, whether it happened in high school, in college, or as we became actual adults. What seemed boring and depressing back when D3 actually came out becomes more relevant and more bittersweet rather than simply depressing later.

When the 3rd one first came out (est 1996), I did not like it as much as the others, but I think it was because I did not relate to it as much as I can now after so many years. That was how it was for me anyway.

I automatically disregarded D3 when it first came out because I was still on such an overbearing high from D2.......I actually caught D3 when it finally made it to the Disney Channel. Gotta say, this movie resonates with me all the way. My biggest takeaway from D3? Whenever you "level up," a new form of "resistance" in life will just hit ya in the crotch so being able to adapt is ever so important as we evolve in our lives.

Its funny when watching this when i was a kid i always viewed coach orion as a jerk. When i watched it at 29 i realized he actually never was a jerk. In fact it was charlie and the other Ducks who were jerks to him
