I would suggest applying the blooming gel and add the color without marbling it yourself. Just place the color where you want and let it spread and marble in its own with no manipulation ❤

Although I really love the nail, I don’t think you’re supposed to make so many lines yourself. I think the uniqueness of marbling comes from simple strokes and letting the blooming gel do 90% of the work. They came out super cute, but it doesn’t feel like marble. Feels more like a water color vibe.

check out compagnies who are specialize in quartz counters, they can make imitation of anything ang even make it more subtile. the bad thing about real marble it that water on it will stain it... so quartz is 100% safe with water anc more affordable! @@hal_jordan2814

I'm gonna say I don't use gel polish so I don't quite understand what exactly blooming gel is supposed to look like but I think the beetles kit was so much better than the other one, am I crazy?? @@luvrere5962I have the beetles one and it actually works amazingly well. No strong odors, easy to work with. The 170 set had thin blooming gel same as beetles? They both bled as pretty much every blooming gel does. The biggest difference in the kits is the beetles set sent regular gel polish and the 170 sent basically jelly gel polish. I have regular and jelly, jelly almost always looks better for bright colors in blooming gel. So less a question of better or worse and more a question of what is your end goal, color wise.

Everyone loves beetles but be careful everyone ❤ cuz their hema levels are THROUGH THE ROOF so the allergy risk is much higher with that brand. It's like that with alot of cheap gels..but it's worth noting. Be careful and as a nail tech I would only use on myself, never clients. No hate ❤ just a side note ❤

What’s hema?
@Tastykake83
@Tastykake83 Жыл бұрын
@@raleemay an ingredient in many nail products. Higher levels or increased exposure can cause a lifelong painful allergy. Or even low levels can cause it in people sensitive or who already have the allergy. But anyone can develop the sensitivity, no matter what. Alot of higher end brands are hema free, or have much lower levels.
@Tastykake83

@@raleemay copied from Google... Chemically, it is classified as a hapten, which is a substance of low molecular weight. It means that when it comes into contact with the skin, it can easily penetrate its hydrolipidic barrier and cause irritation, rash or even painful blisters.

i swear, you'd make a v competent and creative biology researcher. biology, unlike most sciences, is a puzzle solving terrain at every step, no exception. your tendency to set up experiment conditions, plus the quality of your tests, and the fact that you understand and use positive and negative controls correctly, makes you the type of scientist that doesn't need supervision, because you're thorough AND like to solve your problems creatively. if I'd work with you, I'd trust your work ethics and your capabilities and I'd be right to do so.

Remember when all of us were obsessed with eyeshadow palettes in 2015 and brands would release one after the other and we would all buy them? This reminds me of that. DVOK also came out with a december glitter series and honestly I think I have the same glitters from GlitterPlanet I can just dab on the nail in layers. It's the packaging that's beautiful but I feel like I'm getting overwhelmed with the amount of barely different color collections. I have a bunch of korean gels that have gone bad because I've bought too many collections and I can't use every color.. It's like the makeup palettes all over again, but now with nails. Don't get me wrong, we aren't forced to buy them but wow it sure is tempting!!

I’ve used beetles gel polishes before and tbh they’re not ones I want to actively use it’s only in a “I don’t have this colour in any other set” capacity. They’re good thickness and lay on quite nicely but sometimes they don’t cure properly and I cannot figure out why. I try with different base and gels, beetles base and gels, cure for longer, thinner coats. And it’s never consistent in when it happens. I thought it was my lamp so I bought 2 different ones and still the same problem!

I think those things you and your husband were talking about, are called "Bloonz" or maybe "Baloonz"? I remember those things. They were in little tubes with a point inside of the top of the cap, to puncture the seal on each color. And then the little straws that were like needlepoint thin. 😂 I don't know how the makers thought it was going to be easy blowing those things up. I remember the lightheadedness that came along with trying to make a big one. Then if you finally succeeded at blowing a decent sized balloon, it would wrinkle and shrivel up so quickly. Ah, the memories. 😂
