@@rosieglows Totally get that but I'm sure with practice you'll get your skill level up! I'd say it's more your dedication to a craft and willingness to learn because nobody is ever perfect at first and we followed along with Emily from the beginning vids to where she is now which shows her awesome journey ... Also when I say patience, I mean I draw and I take forever with that so I know with nails and the tiny details, I would just never be happy with my lines and I'd mess with them till I went absolutely mental. It would be a whole days process instead of a nail salon 2-3 hour visit 😂

Just a thought if you ever want to try the opening door on a nail again, try making a ribbon hinge. You could use one wide ribbon or a couple thinner ribbons and attach them with the acrylic. It should allow you to get a closer fit on the door and maybe fit the charms underneath.

So while I was watching your video, I searched “ miniature, working hinge.” Think Barbie size. The search came up with a bunch of itty-bitty hinges. Maybe next time you can order some ahead of time and have tiny little hinges. Even if you had to use two, you might have better luck. I think that advent calendar nail was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Your draw my nails are my favorite. I am not creative enough to send it in any ideas but the creators are amazing. This set was by far my favorite. I just got out of the hospital so I’m a little late but Merry Christmas. Wishing you and David many blessings.

The snowman was cute... you could've stuck the arms in the white sissy clay before you cured it and then the pompom on the hat you could've cut little pieces into it to look like the fuzzy ones before you cured it. But you're awesome and I love these videos

You did a freaking amazing job on all of these! I, myself, would have drilled two holes and used two of those earing like rings as hinges instead of an actual hinge. I think it would've opened and closed almost seamlessly that way.

A little hack for the sprinkles (if it works kinda like polymer clay) use a sheet of printer paper to roll out the snake. The slightly toothy grip makes it easier to roll out thinner and more even.

Oh my gosh! I'm so happy you liked my design I had drawn it out in my own ideas book and hadn't used it yet so re drew it on my laptop and sent it through. Since then I've painted it on my own nails and because I don't have super long nails I spilt it up into two nails. So his beard is on a different nail and you put the nails together to get the full effect. it took me an hour to do mine lol. I think I added a pic of my nails on my Instagram. I love how yours came out. Thank you again for picking my design :)

hi! next time you try doing christmas lights, try using a small white dot under the jelly gel ;)

If you have small scissors try cutting the clay or nail items to make fingers or to make fur, sometimes when you are scalping really small things small scissors are your best friend. I don’t do nails, but I sometimes do small sculptures. Maybe this will help in the future. I love every video you make. You are a very talented person who has such a calming vibe. For the advent calendar one, you should have left the box clear. That way way day you could have put in the count down -with like a permanent marker etc. Each day wipe off the marker with metho and change it but I still love the set regardless!
